Haere mai to my sanctuary home, quiet and peaceful, yet just a 5-10 minute walk from Motueka's amazing cafes, shops and amenities. I invite you to make yourself at home - guests are welcome to use my huge private garden with outdoor eating area, my big relaxing bath, and all of my kitchen space and amenities. My home is a 1930s bungalow, oozing character, yet comfortable and homely. I lead a simple life with no TV or wifi, but guests are welcome to hotspot from my phone.

Quiet street, full of character, just a short 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Motueka. Motueka is bustling with the best cafe's in the region, an amazing local Sunday market, interesting shops, a boutique cinema, and restaurants/bars to keep you fed and watered, not to mention some of the nicest beaches in the region. Accessible by car is Abel Tasman and Kahurangi national parks, the Motueka river, the Riuwaka resurgence, Takaka hill, Kaiteretere mountain bike park and the great taste trail, the artistic villages of Mapua and Upper Moutere, brewerys and vineyards, amongst too many other gems to list. Friendly locals too!

During your stay
I work locally and have quite a few hobbies so it's likely I'll be out and about during your stay. I'm happy to interact and connect, give tips about local amenities and activities - of which there are many, advise on my favourite cafe's and local gems. I'm equally happy to step back and leave you to explore it all to yourself, depending on your preference. Your well behaved pets are most welcome - I'm an absolute dog lover. I'm open to longer stays or rentals for certain guests - if our connection feels right and our lifestyles align.
