*Vaccine required* Private hideaway feels like a remote cabin, but it's right downtown. New construction on old footprint -- modern design meets salvaged material from original 1875 building. Spacious loft, two levels. Good light and acoustics. Upper level: mudroom, dining/kitchen, dressing/laundry room, full bath w/soaking tub. Under loft: sleeping nook, office space and half bath. Vaulted living room with wall of windows. Skylights. Cozy, eclectic furnishings. Off-street parking for one car.

The space
The Cabin is a hand-crafted space. Modern sensibility and technology meet salvaged-on-site materials. Textured. Tactile. Industrial. Homage to fire. Full of stories. But cozy, easy-living, unfussy, quiet. Fully fitted up and furnished with eclectic finds. Ideal for remote working and creative endeavor. Longer reservations favored.

Vermont is my adopted home. Been here off and on since 1982, though I've lived in San Fran, NYC and DC, too. I've spent the last twenty years renovating a number of historic buildings in downtown Bristol, including an 1925 grist mill, a 1916 Ford Motor dealership, and an 1875 mercantile. Airbnb host since 2010. Meditator, photographer, lover of music and art, good food, conversation and hot springs.
