Fulham is vibrant and has a village atmosphere with excellent transport links. Location-wise the flat is in an upmarket area in Zone 2. The area is quiet and extremely safe part of London. The river Thames is within a short walking distance, and provides a magical respite from the busy city. There is a great location for traditional English pubs, local theatres and restaurants.
All tube stations can also be reached by a five minute bus journey, or a 15 minute walk. From outside the flat there are a wide variety of bus routes that go to all the top sightseeing and shopping spots such as Kings Road, Westminster, the South Bank, South Kensington and all the main museums, Oxford Street and Baker Street.
Cycles for hire: Right outside the flat is London's Barclays Cycle Hire scheme, ideal for a short cycle down to river, exploring locally, or venturing into the heart of London. I have lots of cycle guides and a helmet for your use.
Fulham Broadway is the closest tube. Hammersmith is also close and is the tube station serving Heathrow.
Top travel tip 1: Get a London Oyster card. Top it up with £10. This will get you to the flat via London train, tube or bus.
Top travel tip 2: Get the 'Citymapper' app. Excellent app showing all bus, tube, overground and walking directions between points - plus all costs and timings. Highly recommended.

MOST OF ALL - ENJOY!
It's my first time to join this apps and find the accommodation for my trip. It's great that i have met a nice and helpful house owner to give me some good advice and suggestion on my trip. The house is also beautiful and clean, so it did give me comfortable and warm feelings. I hope we can meet again in the future.
Amazing experience. Antonia is super friendly. Nice cosy room. Everything nearby. Fabulous place
Antonia has been a really awesome host, making my first AirBnB experience nothing but a pleasant one! Directions on getting to the flat were very easy to follow, considering that I'm new to London and was navigating alone at night. The stay has been perfect for me - with good bus connections to the city and Tube, a wide variety of shower essentials and a clean and cosy room with blankets and hot water bottle. I was very unaccustomed to the cold and Antonia kindly made me a cup of tea upon my arrival! There are many guidebooks in the room and Antonia has meticulously prepared a very comprehensive house manual, including recommended cafés, pubs and grocery stores. The room is also equipped with lots of clothes hangers, bath robes, adaptors, hairdryer and even ear plugs! It's amazing how detailed Antonia is in ensuring her guests enjoy a pleasant stay. My only regret is not being able to spend more time in London.
I had a really delightful stay and I'm afraid my future hosts would have a hard time matching up to Antonia's wonderful flat and hospitality!
I have just returned home from a truly wonderful stay with Antonia. Not only was Antonia the perfect host, and really a very organized one too, but we shared a lot of nice conversations on really very common interests. It was special and I got the bonus of making a new friend. What more can I say?
And Fulham is really a very nice place to live in.
My first time with airbnb, and what a lovely host. I enjoyed every minute at Antonias. She supports you with all the information you need. It's a very quiet flat, you find nice pubs within walking distance, and most important: there are very good bus connections to the city centre. It was just a marvellous stay!
Antonia is delightful and has considerable experience as an airbnb hostess. Her home is very well kept and offered everything I needed for my stay in London - albeit brief. I'm more than happy to recommend this property.
I had a very good stay, the room was very comfortable and the area was very pleasant. The welcome book provides nice walks close to the flat.
I am a longtime Londoner of 30 years and I love this city. I have been hosting since May 2012 and have found it to be an absolutely delightful experience. I'm only sorry I didn't do this sooner!
It is wonderful how airbnb has helped us regular people open their doors to the curious traveller, and I am very happy that I can now contribute to this way of experiencing the world.
I've really enjoyed hosting and chatting with all the lovely airbnb'ers who have come to stay and I'm looking forward to being a guest myself sometime soon.
I work for Local Government in economic development, and love living in this part of the big city, as it has a village atmosphere and is close to the river - my bit of countryside in the city.
See you soon! Antonia
