4 bed 2.5 bath .62 acres 231' of creek. Jan 2023 makeover, paint, furnishings, Monet, Van Gogh Art. Last creek front home on dead end. Front yard you're in a small town neighborhood but backyard you're in the country yet 3 blocks to downtown. Wonderful park, wineries, bank, restaurants, shops, gas station and market. Side note ever since Covid people are on edge :( not nice. I will get a 5 star review then 1-3 star for a minor issue, take low reviews with a grain of salt as they're not accurate

Neighborhood highlights

The home is in downtown Amity, incorporated by the Oregon Legislative Assembly on October 19, 1880, originally as a town and still an unspoiled Yamhill County farm town with population of only 1767. There is a mix of old homes, new homes and some manufactured homes in the safe neighborhood with lots of kids. It's 2 blocks to wonderful Amity City Park and 3 blocks to downtown Amity, elevation 162' in the heart of the Yamhill Valley. Downtown Amity has an Espresso drive through, library, restaurants, antiques, small market, a couple tasting rooms Chevron and the Dollar General is a 3 minute walk East up the alley. The location is bullseye in the middle of Oregon Wine Country with wineries North, South, East and West. McMinnville (Mac) is a 7 minute drive North to shopping and only 10 minutes to historic downtown. Salem is 17 miles and you can drive in an hour to Portland, Cascade Mountains or the Coast. The home is in town so it is very walkable but also private since it is the last creek side home on a dead end street, adjacent to an riparian Oak Forest on Salt Creek. If you canoe or kayak Salt Creek it's very Southeastern USA Bayou like with dripping moss on the trees, hence the name of the Bayou Golf Course Bayou Golf Course, 9301 SW Bayou Dr, McMinnville, OR 97128 9-Hole regulation course which is 4 miles North and downstream on Salt Creek.
