  • The location is fantastic with amazing choices of eating and shopping, great access to transport, (2 tube stops and buses to everywhere, including the19 to Piccadilly Circus or 43 to London Bridge!), safe and charming. The flat is beautiful, very elegant, (exactly like the photos) comfortable and convenient, (lots of electrical outlets for the electronics that need charging, wi-fi) with a very comfortable kitchen around which we spent lots of mornings drinking coffee chatting. Our host was amazing, she made us feel very welcome, had everything set up for a great vacation and check in and out was instantaneous. She made the trip go as smoothly as possible and was responsive to even our silliest questions and always available with great advice. I can't think of any other way we could have a better stay. We even enjoyed the Sunday Times delivered to the door.

  • What I should write here?? I would say any words can not describe how nice this place it and how happy we are to stay here in Robin's house. As I saw all the positive review before I would love to say that I totally agree with every words the guest had been written. From my own opinion, the most important part that we have to admire is the owner. Robin s very nice and kind person even my English s not fluent enough, she s also try to understand and answer every question. Her delightful n cheerful personality makes us feel happy and feeling like being at home at the relatives house. Second of all, the place 's location and furniture design plus decorations are extremely beautiful. From her lifestyle as being an artist make us enjoy this house the most. You can fine any chic n hip stuff decorate around in every corner. The quality of electronic stuffs r the best my mom love it and the most significant thing s is located in very nice area , safe place and we love all the restaurant bars coffee shop their. We stayed there for a week and visited more than 8 shops n still have a lot more to go. I think I should stay for a months to finish all the restaurant around here. It located near Islington town-hall, underground and bus stop very convenience to go to any area in London or downtown. If I get a chance to buy a house in London I definitely find place in this area. 7 days in Robin s house r nice and wonderful my mom n dad have a very nice sleep in the master bedroom. As my mom she s not use to cold weather, the heater here just work so perfect to keep her warm all the trip. Nothing can compare to this place, I would be disappoint if I chose another place to stay but luckily I chose here ^________^

    Thank you again Robin
From me (Som) Mandy mom n dad
Ps. It would be better if Mandy can write some comment but she s now quite busy with the legal work but don't forget to let s us know if you come to Thailand. You can stay over at our house or at least let have a nice meal together. With love n kind regards Som

  • I didn't think that perhaps one of the most stressful weeks ever would have been also perhaps one of my loveliest, and luckiest. Robin was such a gracious and attentive host, and I was indeed very fortunate to have had the pleasure of staying in her beautiful home. It was tastefully decorated, not unlike how I would like my own home to be furnished! I instantly felt at ease.
Tucked away off one of the main roads in Islington, it was a charming retreat from the hustle and bustle, yet conveniently located, with easy access on foot and public transit. Cabs were easily hailed, and there were great shops and restaurants right around the corner. Couldn't have asked for a lovelier property or better location.
I enjoyed my stay very much, and would highly recommend Robin and her charming home to anyone looking for a wonderful experience in London.

  • Robin's home is truly a gem within London. The location could not be beat, right off of bustling Upper Street in Islington near the best restaurants and shops. The house itself is quiet with lots of charm and great art. The bed was super comfortable and the bath and shower were fantastic. I wish I had more time as I would have loved to use her gourmet kitchen.Wireless connection was better than the one I had at my office!
Robin is an excellent host, she met me at the house, showed me around and then left explicit instructions on everything from the stove to the TV. I travel to London for work quite a bit and as long as Robin's home is available, I doubt I will be staying in a hotel again.

  • A stylish place in an excellent, vibrant location - real home away from home. Located in a quite neighbourhood, but close to all great places in Islington. Good transport around - easy and quick way to ge to the center of London by bus, tube is 10 minutes walk away.Robin isan excellent host, a place is very clean and has everything you need.

  • When a host takes the time out to prepare your beds to crash into since you're arriving late at night, you know you're getting service far and above any hotel. Robin did that for us and more. She even politely covered some of her personal art pieces because it may be inappropriate for my 12 year old, that's how considerate she was. Fresh flowers on the table and the entire flat smelled lovely and incredibly immaculate, clean! We love the place. 5 stars. Missoni towels, i mean that's stellar! The 4 and 43 bus just around the corner took us to the major spots in the city. Ottolenghi across the street had amazing pastries and jam. Her flat btw is fully equipped and we had absolutely no problems whatsoever. Possibly the best airbnb rental I've had thus far. We will book again! Cheers!

  • Wonderfully spacious and beautiful apartment with an equally lovely host! We booked this apartment only a few days before our arrival and Robin was very prompt at responding and catering to our needs. Our group had 2 adults and 2 older children and the large couch and air mattress were a comfortable supplement to the double bed. Wifi was very fast and reliable. We were initially concerned about the distance from the main tourist attractions, but as mentioned in other reviews, there are many frequent buses that run to popular locations - plus taking the bus was like a sightseeing experience in itself! The neighbourhood is upscale with many multi-cultural restaurants, bakeries and bars to choose from. Definitely a great nightlife scene on the weekends - the only flaw being there is a bit of noise if you are a very light sleeper. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone!

  • Robin's home is truly wonderful. It's very well-located with shops and restaurants within a minute's walk, and two tube stations not many minutes away. The home itself is very comfortable, the bed a dream and the amount of space a welcome change from the generally cramped London rentals available. She was very responsive and helpful and I would absolutely recommend her and her flat to anyone coming to London.

  • Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful stay in Robins house. The area is very nice, with lots of shops and restaurants. Good communications into the city centre thanks to the Victoria metro line, and the bus stop is just outside on the street. The apartment is very cosy with nice interior, a nice and fully equipped kitchen, a big & comfortable bed, luxury materials etc - a real english town house!! It's located in a very cute alley with beautiful flowers/herbs outside the door. I would recommend this place!

About
I love London - and this house is in a great position as a base to explore its many delights. Being a freelance Director means I work away quite often and would prefer the house was being enjoyed by guests as much as I love living in it....
