Ruba was an amazing host. Her place is so conveniently located to many great places in Montreal. Close to St Denis and walking distance to many great spots. Convenient to the subway. The apartment is cosy and warm. Ruba was so friendly and flexible. Our stay here was a delight and we'd go back if in Montreal again.
It was a great experience. Our train was running an hour late but she met us inside her apartment and was helpful to give directions for the taxi. She provided a guidebook with restaurants and things to see around Montreal. She was very hospitable and left us some yogurt, fruit, and bagels. Ruba was easy to contact and helpful to call a taxi for us for when we left. The pictures are accurate as well.
Our Host was very welcoming, the apartment was cozy but bright and sunny and in a great neighborhood.
My family and I had an enjoyable stay at Ruba's place. The apartment was clean, cozy and bright - a great amount of space for our family of three. She greeted us upon arrival and provided a guide with some of her favorite places to eat/visit. We really liked the neighborhood; it is quiet but close to a lot of great shops and restaurants, walking distance to Mont Royal and close to other sites.
We travelled from NYC for a long weekend in Montreal. Ruba was flexible with the check-in and check-out times. The flat is very charming, cosy and we definitely felt like home. The flat is very well situated in the Plateau with bars, restaurants, shops and bus station at walking distance.
Ruba gave us really good tips for the weekend and was responsive by emails during the booking process.
The apartment was homely and comfortable and in a great location- less in the downtown core and more in the area where you find nice bars and restaurants which made exploring really easy. Its still only a 20 minute walk to the old town and central station. Everything needed is in the apartment when you arrive.
Ruba's apartment was beautiful, great location and very clean. We arrived quite late and Ruba accommodated us. The only detail I would note for others is that We were a bit surprised that we were staying in her actual apartment and her bed (she moves out for the duration of the stay), but it was all good for us. Would absolutely recommend.
