In a very central area a few steps from St.Peter and near Piazza Navona elegant fourth floor (no lift) apartment in a characteristic and storical narrow street of the city. The elegant and cosy apartment on two floors (both with air conditioner)!
In a very central area a few steps from St.Peter and near Piazza Navona elegant fourth floor (no lift) apartment in a characteristic and storical narrow street of the city. The elegant and cosy apartment on two floors (both with air conditioner), is composed by a living room with a double sofa bed, a badroom with king size bed, one fully equipped kitchen and a wonderful terrace with an amazing view on roofs of the city and St. Peter dome. There is tv and WIFI.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Kettys apartment. The location was perfect, 10 mins walk to all the main attractions of Rome. The roof terrace was amazing in the morning for breakfast in the sunshine.
Ketty organised transfers to and from the airport for us making the trip hassle free. She held onto our suitcases during our last day and we were able to collect them from her apartment and get the transfer she had organised for us to the airport.
We had a wonderful stay in Rome and Kettys apartment was a great base for our trip.
I would highly recommend this apartment!
Ketty was extremely nice and helpful, we couldn't hope for better! She is lovely and she arranged taxi transportation for us from and to Fiumicino..... Just as well as we couldn't hope for a better location as Ketty's apartment is 5min to Vatican, 10min to Piazza Navona and Pantheon, 20min walk from Vittoriano/Piazza Venezia and The Forum/Coliseum. My boys and I walked everywhere. There's also plenty Tratorias around which serve delicious food and there are plenty of food shops. The apartment is clean and exactly as it is in photos, situated in a very old and chic apartment block. The roof terrace for me added to the charm of Ketty's apartment. I loved having my coffee in the morning sun! The street runs parallel with Vittorio Emmanuel II and I recommend taking the back streets as they are full of surprises and charm. Overall, we loved it!
Ketty was very kind and answer to our many questions when we arrived.
Nevertheless, this flat is not daly occupied. It explains many utilities That miss un this flat: there is no heating in the bathroom, the equipment of the kitchen is very light ( no glass of wine for exemple), and no tools to clean the appartment...
Anyway, The major asset of this flat is the district in the very center of Rome, and the attic is very nice. We advice to rent this flat during spring or summer!
Great location with a great view of St. Peter's and the Garibaldi Monument. Walking distance to Castel Sant'Angelo, St. Peters, Piazza Navona, The Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, etc., but tucked away on a quiet street dotted by art galleries and antique shops. Fantastic roof deck/garden with attached kitchen-- ideal for cooking meals and relaxing with a glass of wine high above the busy Roman streets. The building is very classic old Italian and this cosy, quirky space, surrounded by fantastic art and lush houseplants, is at the very top of the stairs. 90 stairs to be exact (yes, I counted!). Not for the faint of heart, that's for sure, and a bit tight in some places, so 2 people is a perfect fit. Very charming space, but you have to work for it. We would definitely come back.
Ketty war sehr hilfreich, sowohl für die Einführung in der Wohnung als in Tips geben und sogar hat sie für uns sehr bequem ein Transport vom und zum Flughafen, was sehr bequem war (für 50Euro).
This is not an answer but the translation in english of this nice review!
Ketty was very helpful, giving both the introduction in the home as in tips and even it has very convenient for us to transport to and from the airport which was very convenient (for 50 euros). The location of the apartment is IDEAL !! 10 minutes to Peter's Square, 10 minutes to Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona and 15 minutes to the ghetto. The roof terrace with views of St. Peter's Cathedral also unique. Apartment is very quiet. Would go back again !!
Ketty has generously welcomed us in Romebvery late at night and helped us get our luggage up to the appartment
This listing hadf an excellent location and a nice view of the dome of Saint Peter's but a good location and a good view do not make up for the deficiencies.
The apartment was shabby, rundown and dirty. Numerous repairs are needed. It rained and as a result there was water on the kitchen floor and on the bedroom floor. The stairway was semi-blocked by items stored on the stairs making it difficult to get up and down the stairs and creating a real hazard if fire evacuation was needed.
The bathroom, in particular the shower was dirty, the mirror and light fixture needed to be replaced, the kitchen was not properly equipped, the hallways and entry area were badly in need of repair and paint as was the apartment. It was a generally disappointing stay
Nick is a very strange person. They have said d they were coming in 3 people and they arrived in 4. I haven't ask any money more as it was supposed. my apartment is too small for 4 people. I had big problem of comunication with him. Then they have woken up all the building carryng suitcases down the stairs at 7 o'clook in morning. I just think he would have complained of any place he would have staid. Some of the thing he said are creazy and none complain about. I would suggest him an hotel instead of a caratteristic apartment in a caratteristic building. This month we have alredy planned as I told him to re paint the apt and fix everything. At the end of a renting season it's easy that is not everything perfect!
