Casa Tranconisia is the result of an unusual blend of Brazilian and Tunisian cultures. Luxury and simplicity, in perfect harmony with a "wabi-sabi" touch. Casa Tranconisia's garden is a true oasis and offers several spaces to relax: a wooden deck with sun loungers, hammocks and beautiful terraces with a panoramic view of the house and its exuberant vegetation. Located in the quiet João Vieira neighborhood, a few minutes' walk to the center of Trancoso and 900 meters to the famous Square.
The space
Tranconisia is a creative junction of Trancoso with Tunisia, from where the inspirations of colors and architecture arose. Neologism especially unites cultural characteristics of North Africa and the South of Bahia.
The architecture has absorbed the best Tunisian principles. The house, with its own courtyard, directs the rooms to the center where the pool is located.
The pool in turn is surrounded by the large living room, four independent suites, a kitchen and a “al fresco” dining room and a barbecue.
The treehouse, a real charm, has a panoramic view of the house and pool surrounded by tall, elegant trees and comfortable hammocks for a nap.

Tranconisia comfortably sleeps groups of up to 8 people. Families and kids are welcome! Our guests still have maid and gardener services from 8am-4pm. Cooking service is included for the months of January and February. Other dates can be arranged separately.

Guest access
The entire home will be available to our guests. Our staff consists of the housekeeper/housekeeper and gardener. Cooking service can be contracted separately.

Other things to note
All guests and staff must present a vaccination card with both Covid doses taken at least 14 days prior to arrival or present a negative Covid test 24 hours prior to check-in.
We are unable to welcome pets.
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood of Trancoso, parties are not allowed.
No smoking, pipe, cigar or any kind of smoking inside the house.
Please respect the noise pollution limits and the nighttime silence hours from 10 p.m. onward, as established in the Law and regulations of the City Hall and the Condominium.
Our housekeeper is not responsible for our guests' personal laundry.
