I loved this place so much... full of natural beauty and everything you need to rest and enjoy the serenity. The gardens are lush, the river is gorgeous. The food is great and the people are very friendly and lovely to interact with. Thank you Wayan, I had such a beautiful time, I can't wait to return :)

The place is super beautiful! Unfortunately Wayan (the owner) wasn't there, the staff are taking it too easy as the owner was not present. I didn't get the room I booked, they moved us to a different one. We need to bargain for the transport, and when I showed them the email from Wayan with the price, they put the price down straight away. Saying that the place is amazing, in the middle of nowhere, next to a river where I soak in everyday and sunbathing on the rocks. Walking around nearby village is great too. The Indonesian food was delicious, tumbs up for the chefs! I'd come back here for sure hopefully with Wayan in present.

I had a very good time at Darmada in the Sidemen valley. The description of the place on the airbnb website is a fair description. The room was clean and very nice with two terraces, one on the front and one on the back. The room is just next to a river and personally I really liked to fall asleep listening to the river... I stayed two nights at Darmada and I would have loved to stay one more night. The area is very nice; the place is in the middle of rice fields. In the evening, there is no other option than having dinner at the Darmada restaurant. The menu is quite long and offers a diversity of dishes. The breakfast is ok. They should offer both fruit juice and fruit salad instead of asking the guests to choose between the two. I like to have fruits for breakfast! I was only a little bit unhappy/disappointed on the first day. I was supposed to meet with Wayan at my arrival in order to arrange a car renting but he was not there and I had to ask about him 3 times before he came to see me at the restaurant after my dinner. I arrived around 5:00pm but I could see Wayan only quite late in the evening. However, he found a solution and I had a car with driver the day after. Finally, on the last day I was surprised that two employees asked me to show them a proof of payment before letting me to leave the place with my driver. I think that it would have been more appropriate to call the restaurant (where the guests are supposed to make the check out and pay the bills) and ask them whether I paid. I stayed discussing with these two employees during 15 minutes while I was waiting for my driver. They had plenty of time to call the restaurant and verify whether I paid. I found their attitude a little bit rude. Anyway, it is a nice place and I would advise anyone who looks for a quite place to stay there for a few days.

We were greated with welcome drinks (delicious fruit juice!) and then taken to our room. Everything was clean, personnel was really helpful and they all spoke a good English. The food at the restaurant was really delicious and the service excellent. We were able to have fresh and filtered water for free all the time and we good refill our bottles. This was a really nice touch considering that Bali has a huge problem with plastic waste, partly due to tourism. We met Wayan I believe at breakfast the next day, he was very kind, funny and helpful as well. The whole site is really relaxing, with the sound of the river and the beautiful statues everywhere. I guess the only downside would be that there is no hot water in the shower, and that the pool had lot of alguae. But then again, considering that it is a natural pool it's hard to have it as clean as a chlorine one, and at least, you don't burn your eyes underwater!

We had a great time at the Darmada in Sidemen and felt lucky to have been able to visit a less well-known area of Bali. The Darmada is set in beautiful grounds and our room was spacious and comfortable. The room while basic had everything we needed and the setting is just beautiful. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful which made our stay even better.

Our stay to wayan in sidemen was a very beautiful moment of our journey. Everything was good as for the place, the beauty of places, surrounding nature. The proposed activities were a little more expensive) than in other places of Bali but it did not soil our stay. Perfect.
