Breakfast items were provided and all of the necessities were available. The apartment was in a great location.
This apartment was a great place to stay while in Washington on a several week work trip. It's cozy, and in a good neighborhood, within walking distance to the metro, grocery store, and some good bars and restaurants. Sakhi was a great host, and the breakfast foods on arrival were a welcome touch!
I very much enjoyed staying in Downtown Gallery Place. It was a lovely cosy and clean apartment. Little details such as breakfast food (bagels, juice, fruit) and maps made the apartment feel even more at home. The internet was of excellent quality. I definitely hope to come back here my next visit to DC.
The apartment was accurately described (the couch isn't the same on as in the photos... they must have switched it out with a cheaper IKEA couch since). ...but I wasn't really staying there to hang out on a couch anyhow.
It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the apartment, I was able to catchup on some laundry, while being a ~10 minute walk from the Metro stations and 20-30 minute walk from the national mall (depending on your pace). I was able to walk from the apartment to all of the national mall locations and back in an afternoon.
Kitchen is well stocked and there was some breakfast treats for me on arrival. Would consider staying here again the next time I am in DC
Sakhi is a great host. The information he provided was clear and concise. Sakhi responded in a timely manner to all my requests. The apartment was very clean, equipped with all possible amenities and breakfast items.
I would definitely recommend this place.
Place was great. Self check-in no problem and Sakhi purchased breakfast items and fruit for the week. Nice and quiet at night and easy walk Verizon Center, China Town, and Convention Center. Great location for the price!
I had a great stay here! This place has great style and feels really cozy. Sakhi was very responsive to requests and check in and out were seamless. I'd stay again and recommend it to friends.

I'm a long-time D.C. resident. I've lived out west, Arizona, California and also abroad and I've enjoyed visiting places in the Caribbean like the Great Exumas, St. Lucia, Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, St. John, the Bahamas. I've also travelled to African countries like South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland. I've been described as the easy-going, laid-back type. But when stuff needs to get done, I'm on it. I'm into all music & enjoy art, different cultures, & different foods.
