I stayed for a mont in this place. The apartment is lovely and Sahki was a great host. Always answered any doubts I had and made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. Walking distance from Chinatown, grocery store, metro station and monuments.
Go for it!
I spent one month and a half at this place and everything went very well. The apartment is well located, very close to shops, public transports and Chinatown. Sakhi is really a great host, each time I had a question/issue, he was able to resolve it in a timely manner. I recommend this place.
The place was great and well stocked. The bed and setup were very comfortable for one person. It really felt like home. The host was super hospitable and he responded quickly to the few questions I had!
Sakhi was very responsive to all my questions and proactive about contacting me regarding my travel plans and arrival which was very helpful. He even left some light breakfast and juice to start me off. Check in was easy and the apartment was in a great location, not far from a grocery store and convenient to the Metro. I enjoyed my stay.
I had an excellent stay. The host provided breakfast items in the fridge for the whole week, including bagels, yogurt, and bananas. The place was nice and clean, the kitchen was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The couch is slightly smaller than the one pictured, and the TV is quite small and swings around from a wall near the fridge. But both were fine. I felt very welcome and taken care of. I didn't meet the host, due to my arrival and departure times, but he emailed me a couple times and made sure I didn't have any concerns. I had no problems whatsoever, and communication with the host was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
This was a wonderful place and hospitality was excellent. It was an easy check in and Apartment was very comfortable. Sakhi also provided some breakfast items that were delicious and very helpful with my schedule. The neighborhood is great and convenient to metro and restaurants. A+

About the Host, Sakhi
I'm a long-time D.C. resident. I've lived out west, Arizona, California and also abroad and I've enjoyed visiting places in the Caribbean like the Great Exumas, St. Lucia, Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, St. John, the Bahamas. I've also travelled to African countries like South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland. I've been described as the easy-going, laid-back type. But when stuff needs to get done, I'm on it. I'm into all music & enjoy art, different cultures, & different foods.
