Sakhi was very responsive to all my questions and proactive about contacting me regarding my travel plans and arrival which was very helpful. He even left some light breakfast and juice to start me off. Check in was easy and the apartment was in a great location, not far from a grocery store and convenient to the Metro. I enjoyed my stay.
I had an excellent stay. The host provided breakfast items in the fridge for the whole week, including bagels, yogurt, and bananas. The place was nice and clean, the kitchen was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The couch is slightly smaller than the one pictured, and the TV is quite small and swings around from a wall near the fridge. But both were fine. I felt very welcome and taken care of. I didn't meet the host, due to my arrival and departure times, but he emailed me a couple times and made sure I didn't have any concerns. I had no problems whatsoever, and communication with the host was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
Clean, kind and very professional. Thank you very much, Sakhi.
This was a wonderful place and hospitality was excellent. It was an easy check in and Apartment was very comfortable. Sakhi also provided some breakfast items that were delicious and very helpful with my schedule. The neighborhood is great and convenient to metro and restaurants. A+
This tiny, perfect apartment is exactly as described- I loved everything about staying in it and getting around from it is super easy too.
Sakhi is a great host. He responded quickly to my questions, was able to accommodate my early check-in and even stocked some breakfast treats.
I can't wait to return to DC and would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Sakhi!!
Each day as my colleagues on this project showed up frazzled and late from their cross-town taxi ride from their hotel I was grateful for my easy 10 minute walk from my comfortable apartment. Between Busboys and Poets and Native Foods Cafe I was spoiled for top-notch vegan wholefood offerings. A great stay, thank you!

About the Host, Sakhi
I'm a long-time D.C. resident. I've lived out west, Arizona, California and also abroad and I've enjoyed visiting places in the Caribbean like the Great Exumas, St. Lucia, Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, St. John, the Bahamas. I've also travelled to African countries like South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland. I've been described as the easy-going, laid-back type. But when stuff needs to get done, I'm on it. I'm into all music & enjoy art, different cultures, & different foods.
