About this listing
Villa Samprasada (Sanskrit word meaning ‘serenity’) is the place to relax, unwind and recuperate in day, enjoy the pool, by night mood lighting transforms the villa into a romantic paradise. And only 5 minutes from Fishermans Village/Beach
Villa Samprasada is the sanskrit word for "serenity" in Balinese. Although you are in Thailand, the villa is of Balinese design. Location in the Bophut Hills of Koh Samui, you are five minutes from Fisherman's Village/Bophut Beach), fifteen/twenty minutes from Chaweng Beach (and the busiest nightlife). The villa has graced the cover of Architectural Magazines. If you rent this villa, it's all yours--and the villa is as looks as good as the pictures (actually better we think---its even lusher). And every year we upgrade it. It has two completely separate master bedroom wings with two king size beds and ensuite bathrooms, plus in one wing, we have one long hallway between the bedroom and bathroom and a single bed. Plus we have one very comfortable sofa in the living room.
The villa is extremely romantic and very tasteful and well maintained. We have had small weddings here and many honeymoon or anniversary couples stay with us.
And you are a mere five minutes from the beach/Fisherman's Village/Bophut. Fisherman's village in Bophut has amazing restaurants and you could stop there every night and go to a different restaurant. And on Friday Nights it's Walking Street Night.

Interaction with guests
Guests have the villa all to themselves. I have a wonderful Villa Manager who will arrange your airport pickup and check you in which is included in the price and 3x week maid service for stays of over a week. Oftentimes I am on the island (I stay somewhere else when the villa is rented) and would love to take you out for a drink. Until you finish booking, I (Rob, the owner) will arrange your dates and confirm everything with you. And you can feel free to contact me at any point with any questions or concerns.
I love that it is private and has nice views and then you are still only five minutes drive to Fisherman's Village/Bophut and the Beach, and just fifteen to twenty minutes to Chaweng. You are minutes from the Ring Road in the Bophut Hills. Within a six minute drive there is also a Tesco Lotus, a Big C, and a Makro Cash and Carry. So you are close to the ocean and great restaurants and bars but not living in the middle of that. The lush valley that surrounds the villa in the Bophut Hills gives you views right and left too.
You need a vehicle on Koh Samui. We always recommend cars---easier to get around the island, and much safer than motorcycles. My villa manager has rental vehicles she can arrange for our renters---and that way when you get to the villa after you check in your car will be awaiting you (providing she has availability). About 90% of our guests rent from her.
Other things to note
The villa has two master bedrooms, both with king size beds, and outside of one of the bedrooms in a long hallways there is a single bed plus the sofa is very comfortable--hence that is how it sleeps six.
2. Have a great time.
3. Come back again.
4. In the "no column" we don't allow pets or smoking indoors.
I love life, I love travel (and travel constantly, living between Los Angeles and Koh Samui, Thailand). I have a great job producing television commercials all around the world (I used to produce music videos....lots of them). I have a great friendship circle.
I take my guests vacations very seriously. I want you to have a great time at the villa. To me, it's paradise when you're there and I hope you have the same experience.
Mind you, it's a tropical island. Things happen. The power will occasionally go out. Leave your food out and eventually, despite the pest control company, little ants will find their way to the kitchen from ten miles away if you leave the right things out. And at times you'll see Gekkos! I point this out because I had some guests in from Germany that were terrified of Gekkos, and while there are very few, you will occasionally see one.
