Grab a coffee right next to the MBTA train station.

Recently written up in the NYT for the amazing acoustic design, and beautiful view out to the ocean. I call it the Tanglewood of Rockport.

  • Two Brothers Coffee Shop

Best coffee in town. The norwegian coffee bread is best when served/eaten warm. Egg sandwich is the best value in town for a simple breakfast to go.

  • Rockport Art Association

Experience the Rockport Art Association, possibly see some of our family exhibiting, and possibly go home with some original artwork. Also, they have a nice and clean bathroom!

    The candy is all homemade.

  • Red Skiff Restaurant

Just stroll down the hill for a yummy breakfast. Make SURE to ask for the Anadama toast. It is the bread which originated in Rockport. Coffee is not great. You may need to fuel up before you go.

  • Roy Moore Lobster Co

Eat alfresco on the wharf. Very laid back and very New England. This is the best lobster and crab cakes you can find on Cape Ann, just without the fuss.

  • Helmut's Strudel

Excellent Strudel, OK coffee, amazing view from the porch.

  • Shaw's Supermarket

Good grocery store in the summer. Lines are less. Has a good selection of organic groceries as well as their normal line of groceries. Also, they sell coolers, boogie boards for the beach.

Amazing sunsets, great lobster, rustic location, bonfire on the rocks and smores for all ages.
    Granite Street Rockport MA 01966

From the people who created The Market Restaurant, this is both a hip bar and wonderful place to eat (there are tables outside as well)

Trivia night is Wednesday night at 7:30PM. This is the go-to pub for locals and (website hidden) brewed on premises. Live music and beer tastings (check their website for more info)
