This was a great place to stay and Mario was very nice and accommodating! The location is great and the apartment had everything that was needed and was very comfortable. Overall a great experience!
The apartment was exactly as advertised. It is in a good neighborhood (Prospect Heights), comfortable, well-appointed and convenient to the subway and shopping. Mario is a great host. He was responsive and attentive; he checked in with us a couple of times to see how our stay was going. We would definitely stay here again!
Mario was very helpful. Apartment is very comfortable. The neighborhood has lots of good restaurants and its a short walk to Prospect Park. It's located near the subway and its a quick trip to Manhattan. A great place to stay when you are visiting NYC.

Great location, great apartment. Mario was very easy to work with and provided us with everything we needed. Would gladly stay here again!
Mario was the perfect host, flexible about arrival and departure times, helpful with info about the neighborhood, checked in to make sure all was well, and presented the apartment online as accurately as possible. Looks in person like it looks online, which is attractive and comfortable.
The well-stocked kitchen was especially appreciated, as we've stayed in apartments that didn't even have the basics (salt, pepper, oil, paper products). All of these were generously provided by Mario.
The bed was comfy, soft fluffy towels, and so on. Everything quite nice.
We liked the neighborhood too. A really great cup of coffee (that's saying a lot from a Seattleite) just down the street at Blue Marble; Taro Sushi on Flatbush has excellent sushi (avoid the teriyaki), and being near the park and library was also a real plus. Subway was a short walk away too. We also walked to BAM and Park Slope happily and in a reasonable amount of time.
We'd be happy to stay here again. Thanks, Mario!
Our stay at Mario's delightful apartment suited us perfectly! It's proximity to our son's apartment, and to shops, restaurants and the subway were real pluses. We felt very much at home, thanks to Mario's generosity of spirit and home. Thank you!
Mario is a first-rate host! My family and I feel very fortunate to have had the use of his wonderful apartment for a whole week. It suited our needs perfectly and we very much enjoyed its warm, art-filled atmosphere. The location is fantastic, too--it's a great neighborhood and a short walk to restaurants, shops, the subway and Prospect Park. Mario was quick to respond to questions and truly gracious in every possible way. This was a special trip for us and our staying at Mario's place made it all the more memorable--thank you, Mario!!
I had a really incredible stay at Mario's and he was incredibly helpful and friendly and cool. The neighborhood is amazing, lots of nice places to eat on Vanderbilt and Washington and Prospect Park just a few feet away. Will definitely stay here again if life brings me back to Brooklyn.
