  • It was a very nice condo, though, it looks nothing like the photo posted to it. Very great views of monkeys, and birds from the balcony. Lighting was deficient for me. Would have liked a brighter kitchen for cooking. I would recommend this condo if you were to stay in Quepos for a few days. I wouldn't recommend staying in Quepos for more than two, the Manuel Antonio Nat'l. Park cove is wonderful for swimming.

  • These apartments are HUGE! I had a great stay... this is a great, secure location at the edge of Manuel Antonio (right at the end of Quepos), and the pool was so nice to enjoy at the end of each day. (Plus we saw lots of monkeys frolicking in the trees while in the pool... cool!) The only potential issues I should mention are that for some reason the wifi signal was very poor in my apartment (#5) but it was great on my computer, and the unit had an air conditioner in only one of the bedrooms. These are small quibbles for an otherwise excellent stay. Terrific value. Oh, and Dorit could have been more helpful and nice.

  • The apartment #6 looked better on the picture, so when we arrived we were disappointed. Obviously the owner has not invested much to this place. The nets on the windows had holes, so gecos, cockroaches and other unpleasant guys were coming there. Attention: the apartment for 4 persons has an AC only in one room! Nobody changes towels, so we were using same towels for 3 days, the bedclothes stinked. This place definitely doesn't costs those money! The pool wasn't clean and staff poured a special powder (smells like bleach) right at the time when we were inside.

  • Dorit was very helpful and replied quickly. Bali-Casa Macaw is a very nice house, suitable for two small families. Squirrel monkeys visit the house in the evening. 10 min walk to Quespos, a frequent 15 min bus to Manuel Antonio.

  • Richard's place was great, and he was very accommodating and helped made our visit less taxing on us. They arranged our tours and answered any questions we had about the town.
The property is nice, there's a grueling hill to hike, but it was a good workout. There is also a spa located within the property that is very nice.

  • We had a great stay at the Mot Mot house. The villa is in a great location -- about 10 minutes from the beaches in Manuel Antonio and several great restaurants. Dorit recommended some very good restaurants (we loved Barba Roja) and booked a sunset cruise for us. The kitchen was well equipped, although the fridge did not get very cold. Although only two of the bedrooms had air conditioning, we were able to keep cool between fans and the pool. A four wheel drive vehicle is recommended to access the house, because the drive is very steep! The house could also use a little more lighting -- it got a little dark at night. Definitely visit the national park if you stay here! We also loved deep sea fishing (we were able to cook some of the dorado we caught on the charcoal grill...the propane grill was not functioning).

  • Dorit was excellent and the property was even better than the ad. Would love to come back (I still can't believe we actually left!)

    November 2013
  • We had a great stay in the apartment, which was well fitted out and had everything we needed.
There's lots of wildlife all around - monkeys on the roof and in the trees, lizards, birds and even a poison-dart frog on the steps.

  • We are a family with two kids, age 13 and 11. We stayed at a 2-bedroom unit for 5 nights. Dorit was responsive and helpful from early on, and when my husband jammed his shoulder from slipping on stairs, Dorit located a chiropractor for him right away. The location of this place has its advantages and disadvantages. It's within walking distance to downtown Quepos, where you can find groceries, shops, restaurants, etc. However, you have to take a bus or taxi to the Manuel Antonio National Park. It worked out well for us because we only visited the park once and that was enough for us. The place is not that close to the beach, so no ocean views. On the other hand, we liked the security, the quietness, and convenience to shopping areas. We also enjoyed the pool tremendously. The shape and depth were well-designed. My husband was grateful for the one and only AC in our bedroom so he could sleep comfortably at night. All in all I would recommend this place.
