Ok, looks like I said everything, and if I told you all ..... ask!!
My husband and I travelled to Europe for the first time and the last leg of our trip was in Italy. We stayed at Laura and Dina bed and breakfast for 2 nights altogether and the rooms were good in terms of size and comfort. The first night we arrived late from the airport and I had messaged to let them know of the delay. The original time I said was 12:30 to 1pm and I said that we would be late about half an hour. Unfortunately we arrived at around 2 something as the directions to get to the first accommodations was a bit confusing. When we arrived, there was no one there to greet us and we waited outside for about 15 minutes with all of our luggage. A nice guy on the first floor let us use his wifi after we told him our situation. I messaged them and did not get a reply. After another 20 minutes or so, a guy who said that he was the nephew of one of the ladies came to open the door for us and let us in the room. If you are going to be late be prepared to wait as the renters do not live at the location and come specifically to open the doors. We planned to leave the next morning at 6am to get to the Termini train station to travel to the Amalfi coast. When we tried to leave in the morning, the front door exit button did not work. After fidgeting with the door for 15 minutes, my husband used a credit card and a pen to pick open the door so that we could exit the building. We were almost late for our train but thank goodness we made it in time. Was not a good experience. We stayed in Positano for 2 nights and came back again to stay with Laura and Dina. I had sent 2 messages to them to arrange key pick up and had no response. Sent another message and finally got a response. It was a bit confusing because their English was not great and i didn't speak or understand Italian or Spanish. I figured we would be staying at the same place but it turned out to be another location (which was confusing since the conversation was in broken English on airbnb messenger). This time around, I gave myself ample time so that we didn't miss the time frame to pick up the keys. We arrived early and met Dina, who was friendly and showed us to our apartment room. This location was much easier to find, a few minutes walk to the metro Re Di Roma. The rooms was spacious and well kept. We left to meet some friends who were also in Rome and since it was our last night, we walked around the city centre. We came back around 2:15am (still a bit jet lagged) and spent about 20 minutes trying to get in...
the host met us at the accommodation and made us very welcome. it is in a very good location and the room and adjoining kitchen facilities were excellent.
We really enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay here but it DOES NOT have a washer machine as the listing says. We booked this place specifically because we needed a washer machine and were incredibly disappointed to find out that, although it is listed as an amenity and included into the price, there was not a washing machine in the apartment. Also, it is not the apartment shown in the pictures. The apartment itself is extremely clean and well maintained with our beds being made by the cleaners every morning. We loved having our own bathroom and refrigerator in the room and the AC is a major plus. The apartment was about 20-30 minutes from the main attractions by train but there are a lot of places to eat right in the neighborhood.
I would recommend staying here, but take notice that there is no washer machine if you need it (like we did) and you may not stay in the exact apartment. Overall, very nice place and we enjoyed our stay!
Thank you appreciated your stay with us !!
As we have explained, the room you booked had a problem, and then you have moved in the other our Bed & Breakfast. As you have also come to appreciate, you are getting all the same comfort of the other. Since this is a new apartment and just completely restored, we have not yet bought a washing machine !!! But in the other apartment there is !!!! Thanks anyway!!
The apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures. It is a private room with shared living room.
The host is nice and responsive.
The place is located near to Metro stations ,easy to get anywhere in Rome.

About the Host, Laura E Dina
