Headwaters Jupiter is a unique 4BR, 2BA eco-retreat on the headwaters of the Wild & Scenic Loxahatchee River, across from Riverbend Park. Built from up-cycled containers, it’s the only approved residence of its kind in the area. Enjoy river views, lush landscaping, patios, and trails. Upstairs rooms share a bath and patio with coffee nook. Free use of bikes on site & free or discounted kayak rentals with trip planning included. Total privacy—only staff or vendors allowed.
The space
Main floor: walk in to a spacious and comfortable entry way that opens into a kitchen, living room, dining room combo. Downstairs bathroom can be accessed by the master bedroom or the main home. Master BR and bonus room with twin-over-full bunk are separated by sliding louvres.
Second floor: take the stairs located just outside the main floor to an incredible view of the river, glimpses of Riverbend Park, and into your 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. These are good-sized rooms with additional small refrigerator and coffee pot. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon break sitting out on the patio of the second floor. Both rooms are joined by a full bathroom, and this space has two separate entries.
Headwaters Jupiter currently is the only approved residence in the area constructed from these containers, and although of unique construction and design, you will be amazed at the welcoming feeling and sense of well-being you will find during your stay.
It is located on the headwaters of The Wild and Scenic Loxahatchee River across from the 700 acre Riverbend Park with several miles of bike and paddle trails.
Guests staying for 3 nights receive complimentary kayaks and canoes to paddle The Wild & Scenic LOXAHATCHEE River. 2 night stays receive a 50% discount. Bikes are provided for all stays. Don't miss heading north on the river to the nationally designated Wild and Scenic portion where you'll be enveloped by an amazing Cypress canopy.
Our property also puts you in beautiful Jupiter, Florida. Jupiter is a quaint beach town located 30 minutes north of Palm Beach International Airport. It is surrounded by crystal blue water and has 6 miles of undeveloped beaches where the sea turtles nest and dogs are permitted. This home is minutes away from 12 golf courses, Bush Wildlife Sanctuary, Harbourside and Riverwalk, Maltz Theater, Gardens Mall, new Outlet Mall, Riverbend Park and Jonathan Dickson State Park.
Guest access
Guests will enjoy the privacy and solitude of Headwaters. No one else is allowed on the property other than property manager or professional vendors.
Bikes to accommodate your party size staying at the retreat are on property.
Access to canoes and kayaks on the Loxahatchee River at Riverbend Park (Jupiter Outdoor Center) are a short bike ride away. Rentals are as follows:

--3+ nights and repeat Headwaters' guests = FREE for length of stay for number of people checked in at the retreat.
Detailed trip plans according to your paddling and trip length preferences are provided by experienced staff when you check in at Jupiter Outdoor Center.

Scrabble, Yahtzee, Uno, puzzles and Jenga are available for guests to use located downstairs under the coffee table to enjoy with friends or family!

We cherish our SuperHost status. We offer 100% satisfaction on housekeeping. Please text Rick if not 100% happy with cleaning and we will have housekeeping fix it right away.
***Pets are welcome. $100 PET FEE REQUIRED to cover extra cleaning to ensure all hair and dander is removed for those with allergies. Please advise in advance if bringing a pet and we will send request for payment.
We have food/water bowls and paw mat especially for your four-legged family member(s)! We also have a dog bed available for our guests to use! We do require a $100 pet fee to cover an extra deep clean for the next guests.
The outdoor space provides fresh organic grow boxes from Urban Abundance that include lettuces, vegetables, and herbs (SEASONAL)--help yourself when available!
You're encouraged to bring firewood to enjoy the fire pit. You can even cook over it! When available, we can have firewood ready for you at check-in, $10 per bundle.
