The Cottage at Edgewood Farm was renovated in 2021. It's a cozy getaway with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge mountains. It is nestled on a 170 acre farm less than 10 miles from the Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park and only 25 miles north of Charlottesville. There is plenty to see and do in and around Greene. Vineyards, antique shops, potteries and more are all along Greene County's Quilt Trail. Historians enjoy nearby Montpelier, Monticello, Ashlawn & UVa.

My husband, Scott and I live on our 170 acre farm near the Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park. We are conveniently located 25 miles north of Charlottesville and the University of Virginia. Our farm has been owned by the Winslow family since 1978. It was operated as a cattle farm until 2015, the same year our daughter was married at our brand new "tractor" barn. The barn quickly became known as the, "Barn at Edgewood". We now offer two fully furnished, Barn Loft Apartments, "Riverside" and "Fieldside", when we are not busy with weddings. Our recently renovated Cottage, next to the main house, was added to the venue in 2021. "The Cottage" is equipped with a handicap ramp for travelers or any wedding guest who might be looking for a ground level accommodation. We welcome anyone looking for a quiet, country getaway with beautiful mountain views.
