This is a rare ground-floor unit -- no stairs to climb! -- in the very hip & happening SoHo/Little Italy historic district only steps from shopping, galleries, salons & the best restaurants in Manhattan.
It features a comfortable Queen sized bed, a twin futon sofabed in living room, a large GAGGENAU kitchen with stainless countertops, a fully custom bath with fixtures by Kohler, WiFi internet connectivity, a 32-inch HD flat panel television, breakfast nook and more.
The bedroom - living room - kitchen - all have windows with beautiful wood louvered blinds looking out on a fully enclosed brick courtyard. Each pane is frosted for privacy -- not that you need it as this apartment offers virtually total seclusion.
Please note: We offer laundry service/dry cleaning on-demand for an additional fee and should you need a barber, hairdresser, beautician or even a Veterinarian to make a house call, we can accomodate you! Welcome to New York City!
This apartment was exactly as pictured and is in an amazing location. It was so clean which I really appreciated! Overall it was a perfect "home base" for my weekend visit to NYC. I highly recommend it. Thanks Artie!
Artie was a fantastic host, and this place is perfect! It's cozy, close to so many great sights and things to do, and super clean and well-furnished.
I really couldn't be happier with my stay here.
Artie's apartment is in an amazing location for anything you want to do in New York. The apartment is quite spacious by New York standards and it's even next to an awesome cafe which serves some of NYC's best espresso coffee! Artie was an extremely accommodating host. He coordinated delivery of some baby equipment for us which was above and beyond expectations. The apartment has very basic amenities in the kitchen which is fine if you will be eating out most of the time but could be better with more equipment. I would recommend staying at Artie's apartment and I would stay there again.
The apartment was in a great location, it was quiet, and roomy. Artie was super responsive and made himself available for restaurant recommendations and local historic sites. I would definitely stay there again!
We had a great stay at Artie's Soho hideaway. The apartment is very comfortable and surprisingly quiet given its location in busy Soho. This was our first visit to New York and we found the apartment a great base from which to explore the city. We also loved the shopping and the great variety of restaurants in the local neighborhood.
Artie is a great host. He answered lots of questions for me before our visit and was very helpful. I'll be happy to stay in the apartment again on my next visit.
This apartment has an amazing location, really central, clean and convenient. My friend and I stayed here in December. Prince street station is about 5 min walk away. There are tons and tons of restaurants and bars, and there's the o'neals bar about 75 yards away, which plays great music, and has a nice crowd of people.
Really easy to get around New York from this location, such as Brooklyn Bridge, Rockafellar, Times Square, fifth avenue, Wall Street, etc, as well as being a 2min walk to little Italy and 5-10min walk to chinatown.
The apartment itself was clean and spacious, a ton more than you would get in most hotels. Artie and co were very welcoming and accommodating and responded quickly if we needed anything.
We had a problem with the door between the bedroom to the living room, apparently the lock was on so we locked ourselves out of the bedroom (I've never come across anything like that in London but these types of doors are common in the US). Anyway, Artie was quick to respond to resolve the situation.
Something we didn't realise until the day we were leaving.
Artie was also kind enough to put maps of the city and subways in the apartment.
There is also a convenience store two shops down that sells all the basic supplies and the best glass bottled root beer.
There is a hotel around the corner (Artie should be able to tell you which one), which allowed us to dump our luggage for several hours between checking out of the apartment and catching a taxi to JFK.
Overall it was a fantastic find right in the heart of Soho, at such a reasonable price. I have not stopped talking about how lucky we were to have found it. I will definitely be coming back to stay here when I return to New York, this time with my husband.
We enjoyed Artie's apartment - good location, clean, and nice and new interior. Disappointed there was no kettle/toaster/microwave, and that the bed was only a double.
My dad and I stayed 3 nights in Artie's appartment and it was great! The place wasn't ready when we got in but Artie's friend welcomed us and he cleaned it pretty quickly. The place is really well located, close to the subway and in the heart of a great shopping area. It is also surprisingly quiet for NYC. I would stay there again. Thanks Artie!
Great location, great apartment, and great host. Artie is very kind and helpful, and has responded very quickly to all our messages. And if we needed anything, he always tried his best to make it happen. I'm gonna recommend this place to all my friends visiting NYC!!
Arthur is a very nice person. He is very responsive and thoughtful.
At the moment we arrived, there was a guy waiting outside to hand us the keys.
The apartment is fully equipped with quality stuff. Very confortable bed, good sheets and towels. The shower is terrific.
It is very well located. There is a deli right in the corner. Close to Broadway and many nice bistro restaurants. Yellow and green metro stations are within minutes walking.
