This cozy cabin, called The Cardinal, is 1 of 4 homes located on our family farm in Strasburg, VA. A cardinal symbolizes life and hope and was the inspiration for this tiny cottage. As you take in the beautiful mountain sunrises and sunsets, we encourage you to appreciate all “life” has to offer and “hope” you embrace the beauty of your surroundings. Our cardinal cottage is a cozy home suitable to couples or individuals. The home is WIFI enabled and the ROKO TV comes equipped with Netflix and Disney+. The cottage offers a private bath and kitchen with custom wood counter tops and beautiful mountain views. Kitchen comes equipped with coffee pot, pots & pans and other kitchen basics. The bathroom was designed with natural stone floors and a copper sink basin.

From the host
The cottage is walking distance from our family run fruit market, Woodbine Farm Market, open April 1-December 23. Our market offers a variety of our finest seasonal produce as well as a large assortment of bakery goods. Orders can be placed ahead of time for pickup. Our market also includes a large playground for the kids and a picnic shelter. We have mowed walking paths around the field outside of the cottages. Along the way, we have strategically placed benches that let you take in the beauty of the surrounding area. You may even get a glimpse of the grazing sheep by the fence. We are located conveniently off of I81 and I66. Located 5 miles from charming downtown Strasburg and 25 miles from historic Winchester.
