My partner and I stayed here for a summer while we were in the Bay Area for work. It was a good location for a split direction commute - right off 280, and 10 minute walk from Muni or 30 minute walk to BART. The neighborhood is mostly older folks and families, and had a good amount of services (Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's) nearby. Richard and Suzanne were very attentive hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The space itself is as described and made a good home base for the summer.

Rich & Suzi's studio space was a true gem of a find. I was pleasantly surprised by the layout - it feels roomy, has so much storage space, & is very comfy. Just 3.5 miles from my job at UCSF, right around the corner from TJs, Whole Foods, shopping, super close to SFO. Exactly as stated! No issue w/street parking. They are the sweetest hosts! So nice, laid back, welcoming, & sunny dispositions! I would happily rent again!

The cactus cottage was fantastic! The place is very spacious, even bigger than it looks in the pictures. It was very clean and had a nice homey feeling. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Basically, it was just a perfect place to stay. The house is in a great neighborhood - safe, clean, plenty of street parking and only a few minutes to downtown SF. Richard and Suzanne were also incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great people, great place, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, and heartily recommend it. Rich and Suzanne are lovely hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very spacious and the pictures are absolutely accurate. So if you like what you see, don't waste any more time it now. You will not regret. Loved my stay. Thanks to Rich and Suzanne.,

Rick and Suzy made me feel welcome and comfortable. Great place, as described. Cactus cottage was my home away from home. I look forward to staying there again. I left feeling I'd made new friends.

Hello, my wife and I are youthful baby boomers enjoying the beautiful activities available in San Francisco. We are both retired from the SF Chronicle newspaper after long careers. Suzanne has worked in many facets of the media world prior to her newspaper career, including Rolling Stone Mag & Psychology Today.
I am a San Francisco native and my wife originates from
from New York City & has been living here over 30 years.
We love yoga, swimming, long walks on the beach near us, traveling & spending time with our wonderful friends.

We keep current with the tech & cultural trends in SF including the
theatre, arts, dance & many museums available.
For all of this we are very grateful..
