Fantastic location, host and GREAT views!!
First time in Rome for my partner and I. Communication with host was perfect and met Giacomo's friend from the cafe down the road to get the keys.
As mentioned, views were amazing and in the perfect location to eat and see all tourist attractions.
Will happily go back again if in Rome again!
Great location ,comfortable ,secure apartment , nice rooftop verandah absolutely no problems arriving or vacating. We would return.Could do with just a little TLC would bring this apartment back to 100 percent.
really nice flat, looks exactly like on the pictures. hand-over of the keys was with Tiziano. Giacomo was availalbe with whats app during the stay and gave some practical tips.
every touristic attractiv is in walking distance.
Giacomo's place is simply amazing. The location is great just around the corner from The Spanish Steps and many restaurants close by.
Superb terrace for drinks in the evening!
Highly recommend for anyone who wishes to stay in Rome.
We rentet the apartment for three weeks with a baby and it worked out quite ok.
The location is great with a lot of great sight seeing opportunities in all directions. The roof terrace is very nice and gives you a great view. Also very nice with aircondition in the living room as well as the bedroom. I would recommend to stay here, but...
During our stay we experienced that
1. most of the burners on the hob did not stay on. Tiziano (the guy who gives you the key) fixed it for us after a couple of days.
2. The front on one of the wardrobe drawers fell out. (Ikea) There were some tools there so we fixed it by our self. No problem.
3. Then the fridge door wouldn´t shut properly. We texted Giacomo about it, but were simply told that it hadn´t been that way when we got the keys and "Maybe you have used the door the wrong way?", and later "Maybe you have been sitting or climbing on it?". We had to put a chair in front of the fridge door, which was - needless to say - pretty inconvenient. We asked him if this would be fixed, but when we left seven days later nothing had been done. We paid around 3000 euros for almost three weeks, and we had expected a more attentive host. If it hadn´t been fixed in a couple of days, it would have been understandable, but 7 days was not...
I recommend to tell Giacomo all the problems you might have during your stay, so it will be fixed.
The apartment is very nice, but seems to be in need of some maintenance.
We stayed at Giacomo's apartment at the end of April. The apartment is very well located in the heart of Rome, short way from the Spanish Steps and easily accessible by foot from all the sights and restaurants. Even though located between 2 main shopping streets (Corso and Babuino) the street was quiet and you could not hear the traffic in the apartment, not even in the Terrace.
We picked up the keys from a bistro downstairs and Tiziano was very kind and helpful when he showed us the apartment. The apartment was clean and very nice, well corresponding to the pictures we saw beforehand . There were some dishes in cupboards, but there could have been some more wine glasses (we bought some more, hope you'll still find them there) and coffee cups.
The terrace was a beautiful place to enjoy your breakfast and drinks before dinner. There was quite a bit of bird feces on the terrace floor, which of course can be expected, but it was easy enough to wash it away since there was a hose in the terrace.
All in all we can highly recommend this apartment for it’s cleanliness and location, and for the view from the terrace.
Second time we stay at Giacomo’s flat. This appartement is great, the terrace is big and pretty with a perfect location to visit Roma. Located in the quiet Via dei Greci, between the Corso and Via del Babuino (both animated) this place remains really calm (you nearly just hear the churches, the birds and the very pleasant music coming from The Santa Cecilia School of music.)
It is exactly as it looks on the pictures. Communications were excellent before and during our stay. Totally recommended again!
