About This Listing
In the middle of all things great in Okc! You've got Plaza District in walking distance. A couple minute drive from the Asian District and Paseo Arts District. Also, a quick 5-10 minute drive to downtown and Midtown. Safe and beautiful.
This is an awesome house owned by a couple of artists and you'll feel it throughout the abode. Its unique in many ways. The backyard is a haven not to be found in the middle of the city. Its got a koi pond and a rock garden with a canopy of trees shading you from the Okc sun. Comfy chairs to lounge in. A short distance to downtown and a five minute walk to the hip Plaza District where you'll find restaurants ranging from Guatemalan to pizza slices, great bars, and plenty of unique shopping and art. Be sure to check out their art walk on the second Friday of every month!
There is a king size bed in the main bedroom, its like sleeping on a cloud, and fresh towels will be provided.
The house is posted for one bedroom, but if you need a second bedroom we can accommodate with an additional fee.
There's a fully functioning, top notch kitchen with all sorts of unique ethnic ingredients you can try out. We love cooking, so we have plenty of amenities to choose from.
Pets are welcome! The backyard is not completely fenced.
2 bathrooms. One with a shower and the other with a tub.
Awesome house! Great neighborhood. Walking distance from many shops, grocery store, bars, restaurants, and galleries. Super safe. Driveway for parking, and easy street parking. Internet available. There's a bus stop also nearby if you need public transit.
If you are looking to stay for an extended amount of time we can work something out!
We just acquired a cat and he roams around the house. Wanted to let guests know just in case of allergies. He will not be there when you are here, unless you don't mind him being there, than we'll leave him with you! :)
beautiful home, wi fi, backyard that you'll never want to leave, apple tv, and an amazing VHS collection.
Interaction with Guests
Very little interaction unless you want to hang out and I'm in town!
Awesome Gatewood neighborhood walking distance to bars, shops, and restaurants. You may not want to leave the house though!
Driveway and street parking. Public transit aka the bus, is a short walk.
Other Things to Note
Have fun and be kind to the home! We love airbnb and also our home.
Pet fee does apply.
No fires in pit in backyard. Oklahoma is in drought mode and don't want to risk it!
Please clean up after yourself if you use the kitchen. Be considerate and everyone in the airbnb community are happy.
Leave it the way it came and every thing is dandy!
Enjoy the city!
This was our first airbnb stay. Even though Denise was out of the country she still made sure to check in with us, which I found very thoughtful. She was flexible with our late arrival and left out clean towels for us too! The coy pond was lovely, but I think it attracted a bunch of Mosquitos. There were a few rooms and closets blocked off with chains and little locks, which makes sense, but felt a little creepy.
Great experience, wonderful place, amazing host... ;) We had a great stay at Denise's place. We had to do several last minute changes and everything xwas accepted easily and quickly by Denise. I highly recommend this place if you come to Oklahoma City. Thanks a lot Denise.
Denise was great--and the house and backyard were amazing, beautiful and comfy.
The reservation was canceled 15 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Denise was a fantastic host! Even though we didn't get a chance to meet, she was super accommodating when we had to make last minute changes. She also provided great restaurant suggestions. The house is beautiful and so cozy. Great location, pretty close to everything including a short trip into downtown. I would highly recommend Denise as a host and her house as a place to relax while in OKC.
