Nice 1-bedroom condo in the South End. The condo is located in a brownstone building just steps away from all of the great restaurants, coffee shops and entertainment the city has to offer. The condo is within a short walking distance to Symphony Hall, Copley, Prudential Center and Back Bay. My building is located directly across from the street from the Silver Line bus stop, which goes along Washington Street through the Theatre district and to Downtown Crossing area. The #1 bus stop is also across the street, which travels through Back Bay and to Cambridge through Harvard and MIT. The unit features a fully applianced kitchen (stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc.), granite countertops throughout, separate dining area (seats 6), window air conditioning units in both the main living area and the bedroom, fire place, modern bathroom (carerra marble tiling, granite), flat screen TVs in both the living area and bedroom, wireless internet access. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom, which comfortably sleeps two people and a comfortable sectional sofa in the living area. The apartment is extremely bright and drenched in sunlight. *Please note the air conditioning is available from June 1 through September 15th.
Parking Information: If you have the option to travel to Boston by plane or train, I would highly recommend doing so. The majority of the residential buildings in Boston are brownstones built in the 1800s Victorian era and therefore do not have parking. Street parking is extremely difficult for out of town guests as the majority of street parking is for residents and requires a resident sticker. If you need to travel by car and require parking, I recomment the nearby Boston Medical Center public parking garage located at 710 Albany Street. The cost is $30 per day (call to confirm as this may increase in the future), which is standard for Boston parking. The phone number is (phone number hidden). The garage is open 24/7 and is located about 1/3 mile from my apartment.

John was accessible and detail from the start! He provided detailed information about the area, sent a key ahead of time for access in case the lockbox froze shut, and more. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the heater worked great to provide a comfortable environment in the Boston cold. The apartment is accessible, and within walking or short public transportation distance of many restaurants and activities.
This place was beautiful. It is also centrally located with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. There is also a Walgreens and a grocery store within minutes from the apartment. The place is clean, and accurately as described in the listing. Although I never met John, he was very quick to respond to any questions and made checking in & out super easy. He has kept this place beautifully neat and clean and I would definitely stay here again.
John was an excellent host with very helpful emails to assist in entry, recommendations for local restaurants and confirmations. His Southend apartment is beautiful. It was clean and perfectly decorated. The apartment is located on major T stops and on the Silver Line from the airport so it very convenient if you don't have a car. It is a city location so the street activity can be loud but it wasn't an issue for me having grown up in NYC. Boston is a fantastic city and John's apartment is in a great location to take advantage of all of the wonderful sites and restaurants.
My boyfriend and I stayed at John's place for three nights and had a great experience. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was central to either take public transportation, or walk downtown. John was a great host and gave us lots of helpful info about staying in the area. We parked in the hospital location he mentioned and it was convenient. It is a busy street corner, so just something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.
The accommodation was perfect. Centrally located in the city, very large, nicely decorated. John as a host was always available. If you have a question, he responds immediately and competently. Highly recommended.
Apartment & location were great! John was very informative and quick to answer questions & queries.
John's apartment is great. Good location and very close to the public transportation.
