Heart of Copenhagen-Great location!

Apartment - Private room · Njalsgade, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2300, Denmark

The Space

5 minutes from the waterfront, 10 minutes from town hall square, in a nice, cozy and very attractive Copenhagen neighborhood with cafees and small shops. 2 minutes away there is a big nature area, good for walking and running. The University of Copenhagen is also 5 minutes away.
My apartment is roomy and quiet, I am also a quiet, friendly and tidy person ;o) Your room is 16 square meters with a good single bed, a small desk and a few pieces of my furniture - you can be private there! I have a cat and I smoke, but neither has to bother you, if you mind it, because I have 3 rooms of my own. My place is special because of the great location and I designed and rebuilt my flat myself a few years ago, and its MY lovely home. I have wireless internet free to use!
Bus and metro to go all around Copenhagen is only 2 minutes away - or rent a bike and get around easily!
THIS is the place to stay in Copenhagen! I promise!

  • I had three wonderful days in Copenhagen, and Sarah's place contributed to that. To me, attending a conference at the Humanities faculty at the University of Copenhagen, the location could not have been better. Across the street there is a bank, and next door there is a supermarked. I also liked the vicinity to the canal and to the bridge across to the very centre. Around the corner there is a good bike rental which I made use of – very convenient. And so I did not ever spend on taxies or even buses. When leaving, I had a pleasant 20 minutes walk to reach the Central station.
The room was spacious, light and very quiet – no street noise (or any other noise) at all. So I slept very well. Also the wi-fi worked smoothly. Sarah is a very sweet person, she made sure I had what I wanted in the kitchen for breakfast. But - if you are allergic to the smell of cats or cigarette smoke, or mind climbing six steep floors, this is not the place for you!

  • Sarah hosted me for one night in CPH. Her appartment is simple, nice and cosy, and very well located in CPH. She's very nice and advised me a very good restaurant in the neighborhood, Thanks again Sarah!

  • I have to say I didn't plan to come to Copenhagen. But, I was lucky that I was able to contact Sarah so last minute and she was able to accomodate me. There are a lot of reasons that you should stay at Sarah's apartment. She was really flexible with my arrival time and my departure time. She gave me a lot of good advice on exploring Copenhagen. There are some nice cafe's near her apartment, and also a place near by where you can rent a bike. Most importantly she lives near Islands Brigg which is a really cool neighborhood near the river to just hang out and relax. I highly recommend Sarah's place, and you should go visit her!

  • I had a very pleasant stay at Sarahs house. Perfect located very near to the centre. Supermarket and bike-rental real close. Sarah was very kind and the room was really nice. Relaxed athmosphere! Too bad for me the neighbourkids woke up early in the morning and while I'm a very light sleeper, I heared them. If you're not, there's no problem :-)

Thank you, Alinda. Sorry you didn't sleep better and the wi-fi failed :-/

  • Amazing and well traveled host, was like seeing a soul mate again after years of traveling abroad. Very warm welcome and a nice and cozy place with loads of character. Close to central with a bike rental and several supermarkets within 100m. Very quite area with loads of public transport options if needed ( Metro is approx. 200m for example ). Supercute kitty who was a bit shy at first :). If you go to Copenhagen, rent this place since I felt very welcome the whole time.

  • It was a great pleasure to stay at Sarah's place! The room is big, quiet, clean and nicely decorated. The apartment is conveniently located, quite close to the centre. I rented a bike from the shop across Sarah's place, which I recommend to do, then you can go anywhere without thinking of public transport. Sarah has been easy to communicate, she responded shortly to messages and was really helpful: she even assisted me to rent and return the bike and also borrowed me a rain coat, Thanx again Sarah for being a great hostess!

  • Everything went perfectly. The appartment is well located close to the center and in a nice area close to the metro station islands brygge. Sarah even provided breakfast and the rome was quite large.

About
I live on my own in my lovely flat in Copenhagen, where I was born and raised ;o) I work full time as a teacher. I enjoy being with friends and being on my own equally. I do a bit of running, take singing lessons, play in a drum band and enjoy writing. Music is a big part of my life. My home is my base, where I relax and enjoy myself :o) I have travelled some (Southern India in march 2012) and like to get to know people from all over the world, but I also need my own space, so I wont chit chat with you THAT much ;o) If you respect that you are in my private home, we will have no problem sharing my address for a few days. I hope you will enjoy your stay in my little (website hidden): please let me know as soon as possible, if you change your mind about staying with me or find another host. Thank you :-)
