THINGS TO DO:

TIMES SQUARE - Simply walk 3 short blocks and hop on the "C" train for a quick ride into all the lights and action of New York City. Hop off at the 42nd Street stop. This is also where you will be able to catch the latest Broadway shows.

CENTRAL PARK - Simply walk 3 short blocks and hop on the "C" train. Take it to the 59th Street stop and the park is all yours. It is here you will be able to enjoy New York's "flagship" park of 843 acres, 26,000 trees, and almost 9,000 benches.

CHINATOWN - Visit the orient by simply walking 3 short blocks and hopping on the "C" train and hop off at the Canal Street stop. This is one place where you can shop until you drop or get some of the most authentic Chinese food this side of the Yangtze River. When shopping don't forget to bring your "A" game when haggling with the merchants, because the first price quoted is NEVER the price you should pay.

GREENWICH VILLAGE - Simply walk 3 short blocks and hop on the "C" train. Take it to the West 4 stop. With its quaint storefronts and old world charm, this is one of New York City's most artistic neighborhoods. Be sure to check out Washington Square Park, especially during the summer months when it comes alive with street performers that are out of this world!

FT. GREEN - Simply walk 3 short blocks and hop on the "C" train. Take it 4 stops to the Lafayette stop. This is one of Brooklyn's most artsy neighborhoods.

BROOKLYN PROMENADE - Simply walk 3 short blocks and hop on the "C" train. Take it to the Jay Street/Borough Hall stop and walk over. The Brooklyn Promenade is surrounded by some of Brooklyn's most expensive real estate with stellar views of the Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River. This is a GREAT spot to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July!

PROSPECT PARK - Brooklyn's answer to Manhattan's Central Park and the apartment is located pretty close to this beautiful 585-acre urban oasis located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York City’s most populous borough. During the summer, make sure you check out Celebrate Brooklyn! Performing Arts Festival right in Prospect Park.

HARLEM - Simply walk 3 short blocks and hop on the "C" train. Getting off at the 125th Street stop will put you right in the mecca of Harlem, one of New York's most historic neighborhoods. Over the last 15 years Harlem has undergone a transformation, making it one of the city's most desirable places to grab a bite, people watch or check out one of the Sunday morning gospel sermons fully equipped with some of the best gospel music this side of the Mississippi River.

THE APOLLO THEATER - Simply walk 3 short blocks and hop on the "C" train. Get off at the 125th Street stop. Whether you are there to check out the famous Wednesday night "Amateur Night" competition where Ella Fitzgerald, Luther Vandros, Lauryn Hill and many, many others got their starts or you simply want to snap a few pictures, this is a must see New York City landmark with a rich history that is waiting for you.
