About This Listing
Completely refurbished Studio Apartment in a traditional old stone house in the village of Kastel Kambelovac, conveniently located between Split and Trogir on the beautiful Dalmatian Coast of Croatia.
Our apartments are located in a traditional old stone house which has been recently refurbished. We did our best to preserve the typical character of Dalmatian architecture on the outside, however the apartment is modern and equipped to a good standard on the inside. The Yellow Studio is located on the ground floor has a double bed for 2 adults. All other 3 apartments in the building have a double bed and sleep two people (one of them has a sofa bed which can be used for a 3rd person -Blue Studio)
Located on the sea front, literally 5m from the sea with unobstructed views, and about 50m from the nearest beach. Split, Croatia's second largest city and capital of Dalmatia Region, is only 25 min away by local bus, and so is Trogir, another beautiful resort going North from Kastela. The attractions of Kaštel Kambelovac include nice beaches, authentic Dalmatian restaurants, a beautiful seaside promenade and the nearby hill Kozjak – hillwalkers heaven. Short airport transfer (approx. 15 min) and excellent location between Split and Trogir make this fishing village a relaxing yet very convenient holiday destination.
Other Things to Note
On street parking available beside the apartment and is never a problem to find a spot
From May 1 - Sep 30, 2015 the minimum stay is 2 nights.
I had a fantastic stay in Kastel Kambelovac. The studio was comfortable and adequate for my requirements and the location was wonderful...right on the waterfront, in a sun trap and in close to a small local fishing harbour. The studio was easy to find (I took a local bus from Split airport) and Dardo's directions were spot on. I'd definitely go back again.
Paikka on viehättävä.
The place is really charming! The yellow apartment is small but nice! I didn`t meet Dardo, but I got the feeling that he really cares about his guests! He was verry patient whit my start as a new airbnb member. Also he answer quick and exatly to all e-mails. I met Tea, the houskeeper, a few times, and she was verry nice.
I can recommend this apartment.
We had a great stay at Dardos apartment. The apartment is located in a nice village and the view from the front door and window was lovely. Especially the breakfast on the terrace is a dream.
The apartment is compact, but has everything you need. The only downside was the size of the bathroom, being very small. But for staying 2 nights it was okay.
You need only 30 min bus ride to Split and you have also a couple of local beaches 5 - 10 min by walk. Tea, who welcomed us, was very friendly and helpful.
A pleasent experience and realy recommendable!
We spent two nights at the apartment on a mini Croatia tour. The apartment was located in a lovely village and the view from the front door and window was stunning to wake up to. The apartment is compact, but has good amenities. Tea, who welcomed us, was friendly and helpful. On her recommendation, we went to a restaurant at the end of the beach for a good seafood dinner. I'd recommend the apartment for someone who wants to experience the 'real' Croatia - the town isn't touristy at all which is what we were looking for. Only 30 min bus ride to Split which is a great town.
The apartment is well located outside of Split. A local beach is also conveniently close. The only downside was the size of the apartment, mainly the bathroom being very small.
Tea was very helpful with anything needed, and the stay was pleasant.
