About this listing
Family home with two bedrooms for lodgers, located a block away from the California Blue Line Subway stop (40 minutes to O'Hare & 15 minutes to downtown) in the heart of Logan Square, a neighborhood packed with restaurants & bars. Breakfast included!
We are Spanish-American family that has traveled extensively and loves meeting people from around the world. We've rented the extra rooms in our single-family home to international students studying in Chicago for over two decades, so we are no strangers to sharing our home with a diverse group of people. We love all things cultural, and would be happy to orient you during your stay and recommend places to visit, sites to see and places to eat.
Guests are welcome to spend time in their rooms and all of the home's common areas, including a large living room and kitchen.
Logan Square is a vibrant neighborhood teaming with young people and lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. Walk five minutes in any direction, at any time of day and you are bound to find something interesting. Plus we're two train stops from the equally trendy Wicker Park neighborhood and a 15 minute ride from downtown Chicago.
We're located just one block from the California "EL" Station on the Blue Line. This subway line takes you directly to O'Hare Airport (30 minutes) and Downtown Chicago (15 minutes). We're also next to the California Ave., Milwaukee Ave. and Fullerton Ave. bus lines.
Other things to note
We have two very friendly and inquisitive cats. You can keep them from entering your room, but know that you will be sharing the common areas with them.
The room currently has single bed, but a second single bed can be added if there are two guests.
1. Be kind to our pets.
2. Feel free to use the kitchen, but please clean up after yourself.
3. Keep noise at a minimum in the late evening and early morning.
