Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Welcome to "The Tiny" at The Hemptons in the Hudson Valley. The not-so-tiny house is 400sf with plenty of space to stretch out. Each of the two bedroom lofts have a comfy queen bed on a low profile frame. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking (read: Not good for Thanksgiving, but perfectly suited for standard cooking endeavors). Regretfully, we are unable to accommodate service animals due to the health risk it poses it the owners.

The space
Enjoy breakfast on the deck or grill up some lunch on the BBQ. Take a hike up through the property's private fields and woods on the marked trails and catch a glimpse of the Catskill Mountains. Plenty to explore on-site, as well as in the surrounding area like Taconic State Park, skiing at Catamount Mountain Resort, OMI Art Center and Beebe Hill State Forest. We have a strict "no shoes" policy and while we love pets, they are not allowed.

We are lucky to have a slew of fantastic local eateries, including Chatham Brewing, Fiesta Cafe, Bimi's, Local 111, Roe Jan Brewing, just to name a few -- all within a 10-minute drive. And while there is plenty of land to explore on-site, definitely check out the surrounding areas like Taconic State Park, Catamount Mountain Resort, OMI Art Center and Beebe Hill State Forest, all located nearby.

My partner and I established The Hemptons in 2018 when she went away for a long weekend and then came home and I announced "We bought a farm!" Several years (and many lessons learned later), it has evolved in a way we could not have imagined, and we're excited to share our home with you.
