Welcome to our cozy cabin in the woods! If you are looking for the perfect night away from the hectic demands of daily life, then this is the perfect cabin for you! It’s minimalistic, like glamping, with everything you need and nothing you don’t. If you need to disconnect from the daily grind and reconnect with that special someone, then this is just the place. We have wifi, a comfy memory foam mattress, gas fireplace inside and fire pit outside, and best of all, it’s pretty darn private!

The space
- Outhouse is just over the dam to the right if the pond is to your left.
- pet fee is $37 per pet.
- additional guest fee is $15 per person over 2.
- Coffee pot is percolating.....all you need is coarse ground coffee.
- please clean up after yourself and dispose of all trash in receptacle by road.
- please do not take the chairs from inside the cabin outside.

Thank you for checking out our cabin! We just finished building it and are still trying to make it the best experience possible for you! So please let us know if you have any recommendations on how we can make this space better for you. Our idea is to offer an affordable place that is a step up from tent camping, but not as expensive as a fully outfitted cabin. This is the middle ground where it’s not as rugged as sleeping on the ground, but it’s also not a luxurious cabin. It’s somewhere in the middle. :)

Imagine spending a night with that special someone, completely disconnected and away from the day to day grind of normal life, in a cozy private cabin! We’re talking about relaxing with your favorite beverage snuggled up around your own private fire pit. Or maybe you brought your own hammock and want to catch an afternoon nap near the pond. Or maybe you just want to snuggle up inside on the super comfy memory foam mattress for a night in. Either way, we invite you to come experience our cabin by the lake for a night, or a weekend, or a week!

Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.

Once you turn into the driveway, you’ll have plenty of room to park in our gravel parking lot. From there you’ll meander down the property past the pond, toward the chicken coop and goat house. Once you get to the fence you’ll pick up the short trail that leads you to the cabin. It’s probably a 2-4 minute walk from your car to the front door of the cabin.
You’re welcome to bring a fishing pole to use in our stocked pond. We also recommend bringing a tent if you’re the sleep under the stars type. There’s wonderful places to set a tent up around the pond. The cabin has it’s own fire pit, but just a short walk away we have a larger fire pit for bigger groups. Contact us if you have a larger group that wants to tent camp here!
The property is rural, but you can see neighbors and hear them on occasion.
The gas fireplace in the cabin is so warm that you can open all the windows and door in the middle of winter and still be comfortable inside in your swimsuit...this thing is awesome! So there’s no worries at all about being cold in the winter. The AC is the same for the summer! We insulated the cabin so well that it’s a cinch to heat and cool.

There is no running water or sink inside the cabin, so we recommend you plan accordingly with bringing your water...remember, this is like camping, only a little more fancy! The cabin has lights and the ability to charge your phones with normal outlets like you see in your home, we just use solar power to generate the electricity.

There is no bathroom, sink, or shower inside the cabin. We have an outhouse for you to use when nature calls, that is very clean. Does a bear poop in the woods......well, you certainly will when you come stay here.

We are in a rural area, but only a short 10 minute drive to wal mart and other stores and restaurants, as well as gas stations.

There is no cutlery or dishes, so plan accordingly. There’s a small propane stove provided for you to boil your water on to make coffee, hot chocolate or your favorite tea. We also provide a coffee pot and two mugs. Please do not cook any food inside the cabin. If you want to cook, take the portable stove outside and cook away! But cooking inside smells up the cabin for the next guest, and we want to avoid that from happening.
