This great apartment is located very centrally in the district of Trastevere, on Via Luigi Santini. The property is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building with elevator. It is comprised of a living room with sofas, dining room, double bedroom, studio with a desk and a computer, modern, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with bathtub and shower. It features air conditioning in all rooms, satellite TV, stereo system, washing machine, dishwasher and computer with internet connection. Its modern, high quality design furnishing, together with the high ceilings and parquet floor in all rooms complete this elegant apartment
The area (Trastevere) is one of the nicest of the centre and it's famous for its fascinating ancient streets and the great choice of traditional restaurants and lively cafes. Supermarkets, groceries, open air market are all at close walking distance.
Next to the apartment there’s an open-air food market, plenty of supermarkets, gourmet foodstores and one of Rome’s greatest street food takeout shop.
For families with kids there’s an open-air playground on the square 100 meters from the apartment.
The neighbourhood is very safe. It is convenient for public transportation and you would get very quickly and easily everywhere. It is also pleasant to walk to the main sites of interest, as you would cross many nice places in the ancient centre. From the Gianicolo hill (500 meters from the apartment) you can enjoy a magnificent view of Rome.

We spent a week over the new year at Pieros flat.
The apartment is perfectly located in a quiet and safe area of the Trastevere with shops, restaurants and bars very close by.
The flat is well furnished and clean, and Piero was always very friendly and joignable to answer our questions.
We stayed there with 2 kids and could easely walk to all the places we wanted to visit in Roma.
The sole imperfection would be a lack of daylight in the apartment, but we stayed in december where days are particulary short. I'm sure it's better at other times of the year.
I definitively recomand the place.
Piero is great! He received us at the apartment and explained everything for us, including tips about Rome. The apartment is very nice and the location is very good. 100% recommended!
Piero's apartment was great! It is exactly what he advertised. We were actually surprised how spacious it was since European apartments can be pretty small. The location is fantastic! It's in a lovely neighborhood that isn't too touristy and about a 20 minute walk to most attractions. However, I would recommend walking around and hanging out in Trastevere. We loved it! A note on Piero: he was super helpful and friendly. He provided us with recommendations on restaurants and grocery shopping, maps, and even helped us arrange for taxis. He also had a laptop available in the apartment to check email, (website hidden), etc. I would highly recommend this apartment. Thanks Piero for a great place to stay!
Piero is a very nice host. He´s easily acessible by e-mail and phone and answered all questions we had about the appartment quickly. The appartment is very well located in the heart of Trastevere, at a walking distance of most of the touristic attractions of Rome. It is clean, roomy, and very comfortable for up to 4 people. It has a well equiped kitchen, a refurbished bathroom, a living room and two bedrooms. We had a very nice stay at Piero´s place.
Fantastic apartment! Beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Location is ideal: quiet but close to interesting sights, restaurants, and transport options. Highly recommended.
We spent 5 nights at Piero's apartment and for our family of 4 it was perfect. Our children are 6yrs & 8yrs and the apartment was just the right size, with all the right facilities for our stay. Piero kindly booked a return car for us from Fiumicino and met us on arrival. He ran through everything we needed to know for the apartment and also provided a personal list of recommended trattoria, restaurants and bars in Rome. Each one we visited was excellent, allowed us to avoid the many tourist traps and made our visit that much more memorable. The location in Trastevere was perfect for us, a 20min stroll to most monuments across the Tiber and great for the local bakery, market and shops. Piero was an excellent host, I highly recommend his apartment and we shall certainly be staying there on future visits to Rome.
The reservation was canceled 19 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Our stay in Piero's apartment was perfect! We had been travelling for over a month through Europe and the apartment provided us a place to relax, wash and cook and chill out. The apartment is very stylish and comfortable and clean. We loved the location and there were many great places to eat nearby and supermarkets very close. Piero met us on arrival, helped to find us a car parking space nearby and gave us valuable information on how to get around Rome and helped us out by pointing us in the direction of Gluten-free restaurants and bakeries. In fact there were 2 GF restaurants and a gelatario at the end of the street. We would highly recommend Piero's apartment and he was a great host. Enjoy your stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.
Nice sized apartment in a great location. Trastevere is a very atmospheric place to stay in. Lots of places to eat nearby, as well as a couple of decent supermarkets. There is a daily farmers' market in the adjoining square. An easy 15-20 minute stroll into the centro storico, across the pedestrian Ponte Sisto. The apartment has many personal touches, including an amazing collection of books on art, architecture and travel. It is well equipped with airconditioning, dishwasher and washing machine. It suited us (couple with teenage daughter) very well. There is a pull-out double sofa bed in the study in addition to the double bed in the bedroom. Very handy for a family of 3 or 4, or very good friends (the study/bedroom is through the main bedroom). Piero had arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport, and was there to meet us when we arrived at the flat. Wish we had had the time to get to know him better, as he certainly seems an interesting and cultured person from his collection of books.
Piero's "Nice Quiet Apartment in Trastevere"was exactly as advertised. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and also felt very safe. The location is perfect, close to everything in Trastevere and also walking distance to the vatican and all of the ancient sights in Rome. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean and modern. There was a washer, a dishwasher, a laptop computer, and a fully equipped kitchen that we found quite useful. Piero was very friendly and helpful when we arrived, and speaks great english. Overall, we had a perfect experience and would highly recommend the apartment.
