My place in Tokyo for your holiday!
Hi there travelers ! I would like to introduce you to my lovely, cozy apartment in central Tokyo.
My apartment is located in a very convenient area - the closest station is Sangenjaya, which is only 10mins away on foot.
There are many shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, movie theaters, ramen shops (Japanese famous noodles) and karaoke around, which is a very trendy area in Tokyo.
Also, you will have a very easy access to Shibuya - the main district for fashion and trend in Japan. It's only a few minute train ride from your station!
My apartment is fully furnished with all the appliances you would need to make your stay comfortable and to make sure that you will have a great vacation during your stay.
The room is equipped with a semi-double bed so couples are very welcome.
I can provide you with an extra futon upon your request.
Also recently I organized a small dining table and two chairs. As I mentioned, my apartment is not really big for western standard (though it's normal in Tokyo), so some people may not need those items, but some asked me for them. So I got two folding chairs and a small but also foldable dining table.
I also bought a hair dryer (some guests requested), iron, iron board, extra heater for the winter time and vacuum cleaner.
Even though it is not a big place- 23m2 (240f2), the apartment is very stylish with red color theme & new (it's just 2 years old!) and also the location wise, it would be the best to go anywhere. You can easily travel to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Roppongi, and some major areas!
Kitchen is also fully equipped so that you can cook at home. There are a couple of supermarkets around and some of them are open till really late. The closest one is open for 24hours!
One more thing. Most of people offer the places where the buildings are made of wood, but my place is made of reinforced concrete, so it's earthquake-proof and safe in case you are worried about coming to Japan. And the building has 24-hours security cameras installed, so it's very safe for girls to come home late at night. (Don't worry, my neighbourhood is already safe enough!)
You will be able to travel to the major locations in Tokyo within 30 minutes.
- Shibuya 3-5mins
- Omotesando/Harajuku 8mins
- Roppongi 15-18mins
- Shinjuku 20mins
- Ginza 20mins
Also bicycles are available upon on your request, so please contact me for more details.
There are many nice parks around, and it is great to cycle around Tokyo and discover the inner city - especially in summer!
If you have any additional questions, I would be very happy to answer them.
So please feel free to email me.
I'm looking forward to meeting you :D
1. Smoking is not allowed in the house.
2. Please take off your shoes when you enter the house. (This is Japanese culture.)
3. Please make sure to turn off all the electricity such as air-conditioner, tv, or lights when you leave the house in order to save energy since we've been facing electric power shortage in Japan. That would be much appreciated.
Good stay! Nice neighborhood, especially when you are hungry at night, you will be able to find nice food stalls around the area! It's only 10mins walk to station, and one station away from Shibuya!
We stayed 10 days in the Maya's apartment and it was a very good (website hidden)'s faithful to the description, clean, confortable and well equipped.
The place is quiet and safe with many stores and restaurant. Moreover, Maya is a host serious and nice, who quickly answers to e-mail.
Maya is a great host even though we didn't have a chance to meet her. She was quick and helpful in responding to my emails.
The apartment is excellent for 2. Almost everything you need are provided. For us, we were very satisfied with the accommodation. Comfy bed, spacious toilet that we enjoyed.
The neighborhood is really lovely and peaceful. You will need to find a shortcut to get from the train station to her apartment and that will take you 10-15 minutes to walk. While walking you will discover many little lovely things in the neighborhood.
7-11 is just 1 minute walk from the apartment, and so if you smoke it's very convenient to go to 7-11 to have a puff or two while sipping on a drink from the store. Lots of good food in the 7-11 store for a midnight snack.
Speaking of food, there are many places to have a meal. Just explore the town and you will have enough to choose from.
Thank you, Maya! :)
We stayed for a whole three weeks at Maya's place. The apartment was easily to find (we checked out the way via (website hidden) Street View and only asked once - ask for the elementary school!) and we did a self check-in which was really easy to do with Maya's instructions. The apartment has everything you need, but I recomment bringing extra towels if you're travelling with two people. Everything necessary is right down the street, the 7-11 and vending machines at every corner. The way to Sangenjaya really is only ten minutes away and if you plan to travel during the rush hour try taking the bus to Shibuya instead of the subway (you can use the Suica there too)! We didn't use the kitchen, so I can't say much about that. The space was enough for two persons and two suitcases (in the last days even four days) and the washing machine was self-explaining. We didn't meet Maya personally during our stay, but we always stayed in contact.
We really recommend staying at Maya's place, it's really convenient and the price is reasonable! :)
I loved staying at Maya's flat! The location is excellent for restaurants and transports and it's super safe. The apartment comes with all mod cons (hair drier, japanese toilet, washing machine, microwave, kettle, wifi, TV etc)
Maya has great attention for details and she was very quick at replying to my messages which made my stay very comfortable.
