EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SUKHUMVIT
The longest road in Thailand, rich in of-the-minute shopping, eating and nightlife. The many fashionable restaurants, bars, air-conditioned malls, luxury hotels and hip clubs give the area a distinctly modern, cosmopolitan flavour.
Some of the city's most sinful spots, red-light districts Nana Plaza (Soi 4) and Soi Cowboy (off Soi 23) are also found here. And little, stress-busting pockets of calm can be found in the sweet cafes, atmospheric restaurants and lush day spas that hide down many of its sois. Making exploring its staggering length incredibly easy is the Skytrain (BTS) that runs through most of its downtown stretch. The BTS interconnects with the MRT subway, which practically makes all parts of the city easily accessible.
The must-visit Bangkok attractions are :
The Grand Palace: is a place where the former kings used to live. It is a spiritual centre, a centre of Thai Art. It is the landmark of the city. The Grand Palace includes the Royal Chapel, the Royal Collection of Weapons, the Coin Pavilion, and a small museum with the artifacts from the Grand Palace. For sightseeing in Bangkok, it is the one place you must visit.
Bangkok Temple : There are over 400 temples in Bangkok. The most splendid temples are the royal temples which were fully supported and renovated by the King. For instance, Wat Pho (reclining Buddha temple), Wat Aroon (temple of Dawn), Wat Trimirt (Golden Buddha temple), Wat Pukoatong (the golden mountain temple), Wat Benchamaborpit (the Marble temple) and Wat Ratchaborpit, Wat Intrararam (standing Buddha), Wat Bawornniwet and Wat Sutat Wararam.
Bangkok Canal: Bangkok is renowned as the Venice of the East. Canals in and around Bangkok are an important method of transport ation and help to facilitate communication between different areas of the city. The branching network of canals from the main Chao Phraya River still follows an old living style that leaves the modern face of Bangkok behind. The old houses, traditional Thai houses, old temples, royal barge museum and old community are the places where you can visit.

We didn't meet Sunil, but we talked to his brother and picked up the keys to their apartment from their sweet mom! All three of them were very easy to get in touch with and answered all our questions. The apartment was in fantastic shape, and Sunil left us clean towels, plenty of water, and importantly, extra toilet paper :) The building is safe, clean, and in a great location. The train is close by and so are numerous restaurants and shopping areas. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, affordable place to stay in Bangkok.
Sunil's apartment was excellent. It had everything we needed - free wi-fi, washing machine, nice shower, air conditioning, close proximity to public transportation. Sunil was always very responsive when we needed to reach him. We would definitely book the apartment again when visiting Bangkok!
I love this apartment. It is in a very good location, close to everywhere, with walking easily to Big C supermarket, Tesco, 7/11 store, BTS (a bit far for my kids but still not too bad). I love the food stands in front of the building where you can find Thai local food with cheap price.
Sunil is a very nice host who is willing to accommodate your stay and satisfy your needs. I strongly recommend this place and will stay there next time I go to Bangkok.
