Reza wa a superb host! We felt like we were his family and he couldn't have been more accommodating! The apartment is beautiful and we particularly loved the garden! It was a lovely place to entertain guests, we had a delightful dinner party there. Ruth and Michael, the next door neighbors were a delight and were so helpful.
We loved the Noe Valley location and found fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Some of our favorites were Eric's, Hamano's, Le Zinc, beautiful courtyard, and Lupa Trattoria, all are very reasonably priced. We loved the Noe Valley Bakery but the piece de resistance was Tartine at 18th and Guerrero, the New York Times food critic describes it as the best bakery in the USA, we would agree! Be prepared to wait because the word is out!
Whole Foods is tight around the corner and had a delicious array of very fresh food. It was wonderful to have a driveway to park the car. We had some delightful conversations with Reza. Nilsa did an excellent job cleaning the house. Reza had an amazing array of delicious food that he shared, he is so generous!
We loved having the laundry in the basement and it was so kind of Reza to leave the jar filled with quarters!
We look forward to many more excellent visits to SF and will definitely stay at Reza's!
Thank you SO much, Reza!
Reza is super easy-going - stayed there with colleagues for the second time - location just off 24th is unbeatable. I guess we were a bit loud late night - but neighbors were friendly when we met them next day (and the Giants had just won). Parking is easy and once parked everything is ealking distance. Will certainly come back.
There is a long list of things that I loved about our stay with Reza:
The check in was easy and quick as Reza left us clear instructions on how to get in and all useful info we needed to settle. Even though we haven't met Reza in person, his welcoming has been warm and personal: he left delicious food for us in the fridge and easy messages on how to use everything in the house.
We were travelling with a very young child and Reza provided us with a cot bed. We appreciated it very much!
I was so positively surprised by the cleanliness in this place: even though you can tell people live here, everything was perfectly clean (even inside every kitchen shelf) and tidy. I travel a lot and this was the most clean apartment I've stayed in.
The apartment is big and comfortable (great beds!) and we really loved the sunny backyard. Washing machine and dryer are just outside the door and Reza was kind enough to leave us plenty of coins for our laundry: what a kind gesture! The artworks and the family pictures in the walls make this place so warm and familiar you immediately feel like home.
The area is amazing: you get out of the house and you just hit lots of cafes and restaurant, as well as really nice shops and a great supermarket. If you come from far away and are jet lagged you will enjoy very early walks in the area with amazing views of the city from the hill.
This is just a summary of all the things we loved but there are no words to describe Reza's hospitality. Highly recommended!!
Reza was a fantastic host and his place was very nice. He was easy to communicate with and always accommodating. The neighbourhood (Noe Valley) is amazing - very friendly, safe, and great people. It's not as exciting as some neighbourhoods in San Francisco but close enough to get to anywhere you'd like to go in the city via a quick Uber ride. Reza's place is half a block from the main centre of Noe Valley (24th st) and right across the street from a great cafe/breakfast/bakery (La Boulange). Would definitely recommend Reza and his place, especially if you have a few people in your group and need a parking spot (one's included)!
We had a very good stay at Reza's.
We arrived to a very clean apartment with everything you need. The pictures match reality. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is awesome, especially for a family with young children.
It's close to a lot of good restaurants and shops and the J-line is only 2 blocks away. The Whole Foods literally around the corner was really handy.
Reza is friendly and a very good host.
It was really a great stay and we have beautiful memories.
Our one week stay in Noe Valley was great! Reza was very helpful and friendly, even giving us suggestions on things going on in San Francisco during our stay. The apartment was very clean and spacious and the perfect location for us! It was steps away from 24th Street and many shops and restaurants. It's also about a 15 minute walk from our favorite spot in the city - Dolores Park! The neighbors were also very friendly to us. We really enjoyed our stay at Reza's!
Riza’s Victorian in the heart of Noe Valley was perfect for us; surrounded as it was with shops, stores and restaurants, it was the ideal San Francisco neighborhood. We were only two blocks away from the “J” train and ½ block from any bus anywhere. We were minutes from the heart of the city. The apartment gave us a true San Francisco experience, with its eclectic furnishings and its local artists’ paintings and sculpture. The living room was accommodating; the bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds; the sheets and towels met expectations. With a well-stocked Whole Foods around the corner, we were able to take advantage of the spacious newly remodeled kitchen that enabled us to prepare meals and hang out. The back yard enabled us to take advantage of what was incredible weather for The City. We are happy that we have found our place in The City when we visit.
