"The Shedd" used to be a shed before our architect got a hold of it and turned it into a retreat for writing, reading, and napping. The 800 sq. ft. guesthouse has a bedroom, bathroom w/ walk-in shower, small kitchen, dining nook, sitting area, desk, wifi, and A/C. Even though it's just a 7-minute walk to the village, our place backs up to the wilderness, with great views of Tumwater Mountain and Icicle Ridge. Best of all, The Shedd has many windows and lots of fresh air and natural light.

Other things to note
- Only paying Airbnb guests allowed on property. Please do not invite family or friends over without first checking with Tom or Bettina.
- Smart TV, for Amazon and Netflix only.
- One off-street parking space for guests.
- 15% discount for parents or adult children of Leavenworth residents.

Neighborhood highlights

Mill St. is in town, and bustling by Leavenworth standards; but ours is the largest lot within the city limits. The Shedd sits about 160 ft. off of the street (and 70 ft. behind our house), and backs up to the wilderness; so you can wake up feeling like you are in the country, but walk to town for coffee in 7 minutes.
