The apartment is located in Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. It's across the street from the Q/B train (Prospect Park) and steps away from Prospect Park. The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens are right around the corner (free on Tuesdays). There's Wifi in the apartment. It's about 20 minutes to Union Square, 7 minutes to BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music - great plays, shows). It's close to Park Slope, Prospect Heights and Ditmas Park. There's a coffee shop, bar and restaurant right across the street from the apartment and there are plenty of spots to stock up on veggies and stuff like that, too. I keep the place pretty neat and tidy, and the neighbors are pretty quiet. The whole apartment is available when I'm out of town. Great for a couple (or two people willing to share a bed). I'll provide clean sheets and a couple towels, too.
No smoking, please!
Stephen is a fantastic and easygoing host. I had the pleasure to stay in his spacious room for a week, while he set up his camp in the living room. The location is great, and the subway stop is just on the other side of the street. Prospect Park is also just a stone's throw away. If you're lucky, you will even make acquaintance with India, the most adorable doggy which Stephen was sitting while I was there!
Stephen was an attentive, thoughtful, and responsive host. On short notice, he accommodated three of us in his lovely and easily accessible apartment. We were able to park our car within a block of his place on the street and take a short subway ride (the station is literally across the street from his place) into Soho for a night on the town, though there were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Stephen gave us a full breakdown of the best spots. Prospect Park is just across the street, which is another bonus. Thanks for the great stay, Stephen!
Stephen nous a dépanné après une grosse galère avec d'autre hôtes airbnb....merci encore à lui pour son accueil chaleureux et son aide précieuse!!!
staying at stephens was perfect, he's the perfect host and I can only recommend him.
I'm an actor living in New York City. I love the outdoors and recently completed the 740 mile Northern Forest Canoe Trail from the Adirondacks in New York State to Fort Kent, Maine. To pay the bills, I work as an event planner for a restaurant here in Brooklyn. I like spending time in Prospect Park (right next to my apartment!), going to plays and seeing live music.
