  • It was a fantastic stay, big thank to the hosts!!

  • Lucy and Richard were fantastic hosts. Their accommodations were perfect for our family my husband and I, my father, and our one year old daughter. Lucy went out of her way to teach us how to make Toad in the hole for dinner, and Richard wouldn't let us lift a finger throughout our stay. They even mailed us some left belongings after the fact. I would highly recommend them as hosts and their beautiful house as a peaceful sanctuary among the Cotswolds. Don't forget the hot tub!!

  • When Aden and I arrived at this lovely, quaint home, we were a bit stressed. We had difficulty making some connections, but immediately Lucy helped us make needed online reservations and put us at ease. Their home was indeed a haven for weary travelers, very clean, and a setting that was refreshing to the soul. They were both so kind which was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the history of the well kept and lovely home and could not have asked for better accommodations. Lucy took us to the train station the next morning. Delightful home and gracious hosts!

  • Lucy and Richard were so welcoming and great hosts! The host we were supposed to have had to cancel last minute and Lucy and Richard took us in immediately. Their house is beautiful and everything was very comfortable. It is not too far from the Cotswolds where we were mostly traveling, so it was perfect. You will have a wonderful stay here. I definitely recommend their home!

  • Staying with Richard and Lucy was an absolute pleasure. Their lovely house provided fantastic, quintessential rural accommodation in the heart of the Cotswolds and nothing was too much trouble. Their kind offer to transport us to and from our wedding location nearby at a tiny cost was very generous and much appreciated. Richard also rustles up a great breakfast!

Thank you both very much for your hospitality and company!

  • Lucy and Richard were excellent hosts. They truly seemed to care about their guests' experience. They clearly communicated what to expect and what additional cost options were available. Our family of five had a great stay and would stay there again.

  • Lucy and Richard provided charming accommodations in a part of England I didn't appreciate beforehand. What a lovely set of villages in the Cotswolds. They are kind hosts and their home is warm, neat as a pin, and beautifully appointed. We enjoyed our stay with them very much and could have happily gone on living there.

Lucy & Richard have been happily married for 13 years and bought Corner House in 2011. We live here with our dog Paddy. Both Lucy & Richard work from home which provides our guests with accessibility to services and support 24/7. Richard comes from a farming background, and was a retained firefighter and driving instructor. Lucy has 15 years recruitment experience and has this year retrained and works as a full time Counsellor. We are both very friendly and supportive and we are looking forward to providing our guests with 1st class accommodation. Richard loves being in the kitchen so if you require breakfast, lunch or dinner you will be in for a real treat. We both like watching TV, reading and walking in the local area. There is also a local club near the house where we meet up with friends, and tennis courts in view of the house where we go for some exercise (occasionally!). Our motto is to live well, laugh often, love much.
