  • Excellent apartment to stay in when visiting Rome! Clean, well furnished & equipped, Carrefour supermarket 3 mins walk away, and a lot of cheap & good local restaurants, pizzerias & cafes nearby (frequented only by locals!). Alessandro was extremely responsive & accommodating. The only downside was it is a 15-20mins walk to the nearest Metro. Bus stops to the Metro & city center are very nearby, but they're infrequent & confusing to take if it's your 1st time. Other than that, highly recommended for a long stay in Rome!

  • This apartment is really good value for money - it is super spacious and comfortable. Use hot water sparingly - it lasts for about 2 showers each time and takes a while to reheat. The wifi works well and the kitchen is fully equipped. Alessandro was incredible patient and accommodating, as we arrived later than expected. The only down-side is that the apartment is quite far out. However, there is a bus stop right outside and the metro is about a 15-20 minute walk away. Rome and its surroundings can be a bit confusing, so be sure to make use of (website hidden) maps beforehand and take screenshots to prevent getting lost upon arrival like we did.

Thank you Alessandro for being so accommodating and friendly. We will most definitely be back!

  • This was a fine apartment, spacious, clean, good beds and airco everywhere, which was welcome during the typical warm days that we spent. We enjoyed the luxury of the dishwasher, the (small) elevator and the good wifi. Shops and buses are very nearby and buses will take you to the center in about 15 minutes.

Only drawback would be some noise in the streets in the early morning. But the building itself was very quiet at day as well as at night.
Alessandro provided a good welcome for us, although we arrived late in the evening. Thanks!

Please remind people to take the elevator or stairs on the left of the hallway - that's where we went wrong upon arrival :)

  • Alessandro speaks English quite well, so we managed to understand each other perfectly. He also gave us very detailed instructions how exactly to get to his place before our arrival. The apartment itself was clean and exactly the same as shown on the pictures, not far from the center of the city (30-40 min on foot), also there is a Metro station 5-10 minutes away in general it was good value for money. The bathroom, however needs to be refurbished especially the shower which is suited only for kids or very short people. The only complaint we have about our stay is that unfortunately Alessandro was very reluctant to help when emergency has occurred, namely - we had very unpleasant incident with the door, which had stuck and we end up locked in the apartment for few hours. When we phoned Alessandro to ask for help we were trying to convince him that it is emergency and our day in Rome would be wasted if he doesn't come, which lasted for about 10 min and the end he just hang up. About 1 hour later we received a message that he wouldn't be able to come earlier but in 2-3 hours as he is out of Rome for "baptisme". Thank God, somehow by miracle around noon we managed to open the door.

  • That is a great clean apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, balcony, new furniture. 4-th floor with elevator,15 minutes walking to metro (or you can take the bus). Location is quite and there are two medium size supermarkets nearby. Alessandro met us near the entrance and everything was ready inside, including good wi-fi, tableware, etc. We are from Canada, spent 1 week in Rome and we'd like to recommend this apartment for family vacation.

  • Great place. Clean with all the amenities needed including wifi. Washing machine came in SUPER handy and was glad to have had it. Neighborhood is super friendly and I enjoyed that it was not in a touristy spot where you really get the everyday life of Italy. Bus stops are really close and the train stop is about a 10-15 minute walk away but hey, that's what you do in Italy...WALK and eat of course.
Gratzie Alessandro! Will definitely be staying here again if we ever visit your wonderful city again. Memories for life!!

  • Allessandro was a perfect host and the apartment was a great home away from home. We made friends with the local grocer, enjoyed the proximity to the Via Appia Antica park and its trails, and used the bus to get into and out of the historic district. What a great place and host! We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while submersing yourself in Rome. Allessandro was super friendly, spoke great English and waited for us even though we showed up late due to travel delays. Trips like this make us love Air BnB!

  • The apartment was really spacious and clean, just like in the pictures. Alessandro and his wife met us in the street even though we were a bit late. They were very helpful and greeted us well. There may be a few small cons, but still it's good for that price. The location was maybe not best, but good enough. It is too far to walk to historic center but there was a metro station (10-12 min walk) or a bus which goes to the center and stops a few steps from the building. The only cons I can think of - no shower curtain and a broken shower handle, pans and pots were in really poor condition and there were no teapot, we also couldn't open shutters to the balcony. But those cons were small and we really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was very nice, safe and quite but with plenty shops, cafes and restaurants. Wifi was working well with good speed.

I live in Rome not so far to the tourist home, I like so much all open air activities and sports. I enjoy to know new people.
