My studio is located in El Dorado Village which is a modern village situated on the East coast of the Dominican Republic, in the province of Higuey in the town of Bávaro and only 20 minutes from the International Airport of Punta Cana. It is situated ONLY about 8 minutes walk from the fine white sands on the beach of Bavaro where you can go for beautiful relaxing walks. A car is not needed as you can also find numerous restaurants, bars, clubs, grocery store and shops within walking distance
The residential community of El Dorado Village is provided with mutual green, private parking, garden with swimming pool, 24 hour security. Inside the village there are shops including a pharmacy, grocery store, salon, and sports bar. There are restaurants with international and local cuisine, boutiques and others just outside the complex within walking distance. Hang out at the Beach Club at the Bamboo bar where you can be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Although your studio (2nd floor) does NOT have wireless internet inside, the bakery/coffee shop on the ground floor has wireless internet so treat yourself to a coffee or light meal while surfing the web. You will also have access to an air-conditioned gym for a one time fee of $30 per person per month (optional). You are in the ideal community since it is just an 8 minutes walk to the one of the best beachs in the island that comes with all of the necessary amenities.
Your studio has a kitchen with a fridge, 4 range electric burner, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine/dryer combo, air condition, ceiling fan, private spacious balcony with a partial view of the swimming pool, sliding screen door to prevent insects from coming inside the studio, a queen size bed, a sofa bed, cable tv, hair dryer and an iron/ironing board . You will be provided with an initial supply of fresh, clean towels and linen. There will be no soap or shampoo however you can buy these products at the local convenience store called Cicolelle which is open from Mon-Sat from 8:30am-8pm within the complex. There will be nobody cleaning your studio during your stay unless you pay for housekeeping services which is a daily rate of US$60.(optional)
Please note there is a security deposit of $100 via Airbnb. This means your credit card is authorized 24 hours prior to check-in for $100, and then refunded 48 hours after check-out provided there are no damages to the studio.
The regular tap water in the island and inside your studio is used only for bathing, washing clothes etc but not for drinking purposes.
A 5 minute drive will get you to the Cocotal Golf Club and the Palma Real Shopping Village home to the Hard Rock Cafe, Tony Romas, Sushi, movie theatre, banks and many stores that cater to distinctive international and local tastes. There is a free shuttle service at nearby hotels where you can wait in their lobby to take you to the Palma Real Shopping Village.
Other nearby attractions include horseback riding, diving, boat tours & water sports. There are many excursion companies within the area so you can review their offerings for para sailing, deep sea fishing, windsurfing, snorkeling, zipline adventures and scuba diving.
El Dorado is the ideal spot for those who like convenience and comfort within their fingertips and easy access to the beach. This is without a doubt one of the best deals to be had in all of Bavaro, Punta Cana!
I can arrange transportation for you from Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) for US$40-one way. The driver will pick you up at the airport and take you directly to my studio. The $40 is based on a trip from 1 to 4 persons and it is only $40 one way only.
I also offer FANTASTIC monthly rentals.

This apartment was in a perfect location. Just a two minute walk to the beach, close (email hidden), and nearby a souvenir shopping center. Eugeenie was very helpful in letting us know what we could do to entertain ourselves. The room itself was basic. Nice comfortable bed and living space. The room could have been cleaned a little better. The water in the room was from a well and had a very distinct odor. Overall, it was a pretty decent stay.
The studio is just as advertised. It's not luxurious, but it is clean, convenient to the beach, and comfortable. Abdel is a pleasure to deal with, and the whole booking, arrival, and check out process was as easy as can be. I have no complaints at all, and definitely would recommend this place if what you're looking for is an affordable, convenient place to go back to after full days of enjoying the beach and the area.
Over all this (email hidden) to stay. Small but cozy. If you are looking for upscale, resorty and not have to do any cleaning, this is not the place for you. This is a great value for the money. This is not a resort and with that does not charge resort prices. Nice close to beach..max 5 min walk. Has small kitchen where you can save some money making your own foods. Remember to order 5 gal water in advance and with no phone in unit, kind of hard to reach property manager. Can use phone at guard shack. This is in heart of Bavaro and close to lots of places to eat and nice little coffee shop just downstairs from the unit. Big balcony, nice to sit outside and enjoy your coffee in the morning. Unit is equipped with small washing machine located in the bathroom which saves time having to lug any dirty laundry to laudrymat. That was a nice option. All hang outside to dry. Abdel provided excellent information prior to our trip here and was alway quick to answer any question you might have before going. We had issues with the bed falling from the frame and informed him that braces would be needed so I am sure that will be fixed. Just check, hate to have you all fall to floor when sitting on bed like we did at first ( ha ha-kind of funny now that we think about it) Nice little pizza place just outside complex, La Petit Jardin - good food and really nice people. Almost everyday outside the coffee shop there would be a local veggie/fruit truck outside selling various fruits and veggies for you to buy. Was nice option having it all fresh. Overall stay was just like we wanted. Away from the hustle and bustle of the all inclusive resort which is what we got there. Thanks Abdel for the use of your home and hospitality. Great place and value for the cost. If you're looking for something that is not very expensive so you can spend your money on other things like we did , this is the place for you.
Abdel took responsibility in the whole process of renting out is comfortable apartment in Bavaro. Gave me a lot of information from beginning to end. His assistance at the spot was also very friendly. One thing that you need to know that the water supply in Bavaro is sometimes not so good, making the water that comes form the shower etc. smell (happely not brown, but clear water).
Thanks Abdel and if I go to Bavaro again, you are my man!
