A spacious and perfectly situated apartment on a lovely street in Old Town. Couldn't have asked for a more comfortable place to stay while visiting Chicago!
Great location. Apartment was exactly as advertised. Check in was smooth and simple. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
JoAnne was extremely responsive to my questions and emails. The location is literally in the heart of Old Town, a Chicago hot spot with lots of great restaurants, etc.. The listing was accurate. There was a convention in town and I am guessing this room cost me about 30% less than I would have had to pay for a hotel.
There was some slight attention to detail in the condo that would have made the stay even nicer, but minor things. I was overall quite pleased.
It was so nice to come to Chicago and not have to worry about staying in a tiny room in an expensive hotel. This place was great. We had a couple of issues with the faucet leaking and the TV being stuck on, but that didn't really bother us. It was nice to have a whole apartment to ourselves since we had our nephew staying with us too. He said the pull out couch was comfy. The front desk guy validated our parking in the back lot, so that was great. The front desk guy was very nice. Wish we could've taken advantage of the rooftop but there was a party going on in a lightning storm at night and already 4 people in the hot tub in the morning, but it all looked nice. The fitness center was empty so had it to myself. If you're there on the weekend, there is free parking next to the school a block or two away. Someone else mentioned that there's no door on the bedroom but that was fine. Nice to have a full fridge. We were able to rent Divvy bikes a half block away to get to the beach and Navy pier and we were able to walk 2 blocks to Second City. Great location. Meters are $4 an hour so nice we didn't have to deal with that--although I guess they're not enforced overnight. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby including a grocery store with a juice bar, wine bar and Intelligencia coffee. Would stay there again.
This was a very cozy apartment in a great part of town. Located close to everything, we had a great time using this place as a home base while we walked around the city. The apartment was very comfortable and we loved the roof top hot tub. The building itself had a very charming European feel. We would love to go back!
