Sol-e-Mar is a private cliffside villa in Las Terrenas with 280° views of the Caribbean and mountains. It features 3 en-suite bedrooms with walk-in closets, A/C, and fans; an infinity pool; Corliine marble terrace; outdoor lounge, dining, shower, and common bath. Two-tier gardens host 14 edible plants. Located on a secure private road, it’s a 5-min walk to town, 10 to the beach, or 5 by car/ATV.

The space
Experience refined Caribbean living at Sol-e-Mar, a contemporary villa perched above Las Terrenas with sweeping 280° views of the ocean, valley, and mountains. Designed with international flair, this cliffside retreat features a fully equipped Chef’s Kitchen with new appliances and a gas grille, perfect for culinary enthusiasts.

The villa offers three luxurious bedrooms: one poolside suite on the first level, and two upper-level suites with remote-controlled A/C and panoramic views from their private Coralline balconies. Each room includes an en-suite bathroom, oversized walk-in closet, and ceiling fan for ultimate comfort.

Outdoors, enjoy an infinity pool, marble terrace, sundeck pergola, outdoor lounge and dining area, plus a poolside shower and common bathroom. The grounds feature two tiers of tropical gardens with 14 edible plants and fruit trees, all secured behind dramatic cement walls and a rolling iron entry gate.

Sol-e-Mar is fully staffed and meticulously maintained by our gracious housekeeper, Maylanie and Juan, our attentive pool and groundskeeper—ensuring your stay is effortless and serene.
Just a 5-minute walk to town and 10 to the beach (or 5 by car/ATV), Sol-e-Mar offers the perfect balance of privacy, luxury, and access.

Guest access
Nathalie is the property manager who speaks 5 languages, personally checks each guest in and out, providing them with detailed information about the villa and the surrounding area. Guests can also refer to our comprehensive guest information book with points of interest, and contact phone numbers for a variety of services and entertainment.

There is secure parking for up to 2 vehicles. Be advised there is no parking on the street.

Other things to note
SoleMar is thoughtfully equipped to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay, even during the occasional power outages that Las Terrenas experiences. An automatic inverter keeps essential services running without interruption—though please note that the air conditioning will temporarily pause until municipal power returns, which typically happens quickly.

Guests can stay connected with the best available WiFi in town and enjoy entertainment on the 42" smart TV loaded with apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime (you’re welcome to add your own favorites too). For those who enjoy cooking outdoors, the terrace features a gas grill perfect for laid-back meals with a view.

SoleMar is close enough to enjoy the bustle, but far enough to enjoy the solitude.
