About this listing

Me and the mice have a deal. They get to lick the peanut butter off of my knives at night and they stay out of the bedroom. Country living at its finest.

Bedroom is dark and cozy and has a platform bed.

The Space

I travel frequently for business and it's a shame to let this place go empty while I'm away. This place is my home. It may lack some B&B type touches like empty dressers and closets, but it makes up for it in spaciousness, privacy and excellent location.

Enjoy this one-bedroom apartment in the trees, convenient to an adorable Vermont village, hiking and nature trails, just a short drive from Montpelier, Hanover and both Vermont Law School and Norwich University. Walking distance from downtown Randolph including Amtrak station and many places to eat and explore.

Quiet and dark bedroom has a platform bed with ample snuggly pillows and blankets. Full bathroom and full kitchen with a small table and chairs, stocked with basic staples. There is also a small day bed in the living room.

House has wifi. House has no television or laundry facilities. The apartment is up a flight of 28 stairs. The apartment is connected to the main house. The women who live there have a dog but you will likely not see or hear it or them.

House can comfortably sleep three, is not available for larger parties.

Guest Access

The whole place is yours. Please replace any staples you use up (coffee, toilet paper) but otherwise my house is your house.

Interaction with Guests

If you are here, I am not here. I may be on hand to hand over the keys or I may be out of town and arrange for a friend to do it. I will always have someone available in town to answer questions or deal with concerns.

The Neighborhood

Randolph is a great small town. People are friendly. There's a thriving downtown and a great movie theater, music hall, and library. Lots of places to hang out outdoors, year round.

Getting Around

You can walk to this place (up a short hill) from the Amtrak terminal in town. There are a few off-street parking spaces in the driveway.

Other Things to Note

The house is up two flights of stairs. Landlady has a dog in the front house, so I can't accommodate pets.
