A cozy and quiet apartment convenient to a small town and the Amtrak line.
I travel frequently for business and it's a shame to let this place go empty while I'm away. This place is my home. It may lack some B&B type touches like empty dressers and closets, but it makes up for it in spaciousness, privacy and excellent location.
Enjoy this one-bedroom apartment in the trees, convenient to an adorable Vermont village, hiking and nature trails, just a short drive from Montpelier, Hanover and both Vermont Law School and Norwich University. Walking distance from downtown Randolph including Amtrak station and many places to eat and explore.
Quiet and dark bedroom has a platform bed with ample snuggly pillows and blankets. Full bathroom and full kitchen with a small table and chairs, stocked with basic staples. There is also a small day bed in the living room.
House has wifi. House has no television or laundry facilities. The apartment is up a flight of 28 stairs. The apartment is connected to the main house. The women who live there have a dog but you will likely not see or hear it or them.
House can comfortably sleep three, is not available for larger parties.
The whole place is yours. Please replace any staples you use up (coffee, toilet paper) but otherwise my house is your house.
Interaction with Guests
If you are here, I am not here. I may be on hand to hand over the keys or I may be out of town and arrange for a friend to do it. I will always have someone available in town to answer questions or deal with concerns.
You can walk to this place (up a short hill) from the Amtrak terminal in town.
Other Things to Note
The house is up two flights of stairs. There is driveway parking on-site.
House has lead paint and is not okay for young children. Smoking outdoors is acceptable, indoors is not. Apartment is attached to main house, please be considerate of my landlady. She has a dog which makes occasional dog noises but is otherwise friendly and great.
I needed a last minute place to stay for one night while I passing through and Jessamyn was very accommodating. Although she was out of town, she was easy to contact. The place was quiet and perfectly fine. Oh and her 90 year old landlady was hilarious. :)
We were very happy with our stay at Jessamyn's apartment. She was very accommodating and everything went smoothly. We were happy to have a comfortable home to come back to after a day of hiking, where we could cook ourselves a nice meal.
Jessamyn's apartment is a charming lovely place in the heart of Vermont's natural green beauty... We really enjoyed our stay there even though we didn't get the chance to meet Jessamyn in person she was very nice and accommodating. A highly recommended host! Thanks...
Jessamyn was great and accommodating on short notice. She was easily available for questions or general information. It was a very great stay in a cozy, welcoming space.
I live in the middle of noplace Vermont and travel frequently giving talks to other librarians. I prefer to stay in real human places than weird chain hotels. I'm happy to share my place when I am not around.
I'm a techie librarian internet person.
