The apartment has got two sleeping rooms, a kitchen, a small living room and a bathroom to be shared with the owner. I have TV in the room. Linen and towels are provided.
No breakfast. I'm afraid the kitchen is for personal use only, kitchen is equipped . No Accepted smokin and animali.
The room at guests' disposal is a large room that can sleep up to 3 people ( DOUBLE BED PLUS A 1 SINGLE BED ), it is very simple but central and conveniently located, in fact it is only walking distance from the main turistic attractions such as a Colosseum, Foro Romano ,Trevi Fountain etc.
The second room instead is my own room.
Next to the apartment you can find the historical market of Piazza Vittorio.
Room is simple, conveniently located, and Shapan is very warm-hearted and open minded host. He has good recommendations about places in Rome. I definitely recommend this place!
We enjoyed our stay at Shapan Miha's place. It is perfectly situated near Termini the logistic heart of Rome. The room and other services were perfect and clean. Shapan was a very communicative person willing to advise us what to do in Rome.
Shapan is a very open minded person -this makes it easy for all guests to feel comfortable, especially his flexibility was convenient for me to arrange my arrival without any kind of stress. the room is hugh and perfect located. I was glad to also get experiences how the daily life is in Rom.
Shapan was an excellent host! His apartment was in a very convenient location, both close to the station, center and around good places to eat. He is extremely kind and helpful. We had a great time and if we were to come back to rome shapan would be our first choice to stay with. I highly recommend staying at his place!
Shapan was very helpful and showed us a map that gave us directions to everywhere fun and interesting in Rome!
There's a great kebab place just right about the corner and the italian cuisine (Gelato! yums) around the area were excellent as well.
The place is near the Termini Station and very accessible. The toilet might be a bit squeezy but do-able. Wont be a big issue.
Shapan's place is pretty near to the train station. He provided us with drinks on the day we arrived. It is clean too. We were allowed to check in before 2pm as we arrived in Rome in the morning, and there were no extra charges. We left our luggage in his place after we have checked out with only a small charges, and I think it is way cheaper and safer than to store it in the train station. The only thing is that girls need to be more careful, as Rome's safety is a bit worrying,
The apartment itself is located in an Indian community. The room that i was charged for 80 euro a night is miles away from the pictures shown online.
The bathroom is very narrow that it is almost difficult for a person to turn around inside. The hot water comes out of the shower is small. The bathroom also has a discomforting smell.
There is impossible to use the wifi because the signal is very poor. When I asked about it, the host just said that he didn't write wifi provided. Ok, fool me once, but for a room you charge for 80 euro a night, how can i expect that you do not provide wifi? It's the first time I lived in a AirBnB room without wifi. Even in youth hostel dorm where i paid 10 euro a night, i got working wifi.
The kitchen's picture is shown on the profile but when we arrived, we were told that we can't use it. As my parents only eat Chinese food, we walked until our feet hurt but didn't find any Chinese restaurant, partly because we got lost around the neighborhood. So I tried to negotiate with the host to just boil some dumplings. the host acted very tough and didn't allow us to do it, the reason? he wrote the kitchen is for his personal use online (ok, then why mislead people with kitchen's photo.)
But i admit it is not a big deal if we just stay away from the kitchen. But the attitude of the host was very impolite. We feel we are fooled and paid more than 300 euros for three nights in a room that really upset our trip to Rome.
Sophie Li has to be the rudest guest I have ever had the misfortune of hosting. Outright her claim was that this is not the same room shown online. I clearly pointed out that the pictures shown here are airbnb verified and photographed by airbnb's photographer. I have always insisted that kitchen is for personal use only, but she literally kept on forcing me to allow her to use it. Then she decided to use the kitchen without my approval anyway. I don't provide wifi service, which is clearly stated on my profile, which she might have deliberately avoided reading. As I am a non-smoker, I keep my place strictly a No Smoking Zone. But Sophie Li and her family decided to violate it anyway and smoked frequently. Three people paid 80 euros for one night on new years eve, which she booked with her own consent. I am deeply disappointed and hurt with her behavior.
