About this listing
Thanks for the intrest in my listing.
I have a 2-bedroom house near West Portal. It has a private yard, with fruit trees (apples, some lemons, cherries and plums depending on the season), and outdoor lounge furniture to enjoy the outdoors. It has a spacious living room with a 42'' screen television and wireless internet throughout the house and garden. Spacious kitchen. Parking spot available in driveway. Easy access to airport.
The house was built in 1922, so there are still old Victorian touches to it. It is cozy, clean and modern, with original woodwork, windows, and some detailing from the 20s. All hardwood floors throughout the house. Fully heated with plenty of parking.
The view out of the window of the room faces the Pacific. You can see it on a clear day and the sunsets are really beautiful.
The room has a walk-in closet. The door to the room locks from the inside, but not from the outside.
Ocean Beach and the Zoo in San Francisco are very close. A block and a half from Stern Grove. Tennis courts and parks within walking distance. Close to Golden Gate Park. One block from Muni (L-line and 28 bus). A few block from surf beach (Sloat). Also I am very close to the Stonestown Galleria, which is a great mall for shopping. If you take a 10 min walk you can get to West Portal and all the local shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Sub-Center, because it has some of the best Submarines in SF.
There is a cleaning service that comes once a month to clean the entire house, and is included in the monthly rent, if you choose to book for that period of time. There is also a high quality washer and dryer on the first floor (in the garage), along with a drying rack if you choose to air dry clothing.
There is also a gardener who comes every other week to keep the garden and grass nice for your enjoyment.
I have a lil puppy, Pancho, who was adopted. He looks like a bichon/poodle. He is 15 lbs. He's really sweet and cute. He's hypoallergenic and doesn't shed. He lives in the living room sometimes, where he plays with his toys and lounges on his little dog lounger. He likes to have his chest rubbed, and sits for treats.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Keep common areas clean and tidy. No smoking inside the house.

My Husband and I stayed at Jess' place while visiting SF. The location is great for taking public transit, only a few locks from the MUNI L-line. The house and room were as described. Very clean and well kept. It's an older house so it has some quirks. We really didn't have any house instructions so you either had to figure things out on your own or ask the other house guests. Jess was very nice but not the quickest with communication. We ran out of some amenities (toilet paper, paper towels) while there and messaged Jess. We never got a response or more toilet paper (we bought our own, I know what your thinking). All in all we had a great stay, the location and house were both lovely.
The stay at the sunset house was ok, we were especially happy about the price - since in summertime the hotels in the center were really expensive. Even though it was quite far away from the city center, it was no problem with the car. We didn't like that the room was incredibly bright in the mornings and that there wasn't any possibility to do laundry, even though it was listed in the description (the garage was locked and no key was to be found).
Another wonderful trip to San Fran! Jess is both so welcoming and accommodating, and the house is close to lots of amenities and public transport. Do yourself a favour and stay here!
The apartment is in Chinese area, and the location is very convenient. It is easy to take metro and there is a supermarket nearby. I didn't meet the host during our living, but we keep in touch on the internet. It was a good choice to stay in San Francisco.
This house is located in Chinese area and has good access to downtown area and golden gate park. Restaurants, grocery store, bus stop and trolley station are all within walking distance. Very convenient! When I stayed, 5 people were using one same bathroom but it didn't bother me during 4 days of my stay. Overall, I could have pleasant stay in this place:) The host is very responsible and gave all the info I needed in advance!
