Everything was good and sufficient for our stay! Very affordable and had everything we needed for our Wed-Sat stay. Everything was clean, and bed was comfortable. Really good location - walking distance to many great restaurants, subway, and Citi bikes. We actually didn't meet G, but he was very responsive via text and asked us a few times during our stay if everything was going well. (He was at work when we arrived, and his friend met us with the keys.) The apartment was small, but this is NYC - everything is small!
The accommodation ticked all of the boxes! It's a small apartment and the bathroom is pretty cosy but probably average by New York standards. The location was easy walking distance to the buzzing neighborhoods of Soho and Lower East Side as well subway stations with various lines that will take you virtually anywhere you need to go within Manhattan and beyond. Communication before and during our stay with Giuseppe and Fabio was easy and they were swift to respond. Apartment was clean and well equipped. Perfect for the amount of time we spent in it as we were out exploring most of the time. Highly recommend this accommodation and would stay again in a heart beat!
Jeff and I felt that garden photo was deceiving. It was extremely loud. People upstairs were constantly jumping and it was very loud. This place is in china town not little Italy so there was constant odor of bad smelling fish. I don't think sheets were cleaned.
This review is deceiving.
There is nobody selling fish in our block, we never had fish smell on the streets.
She stayed at our place just two nights over a weekend, that's why it was loud.
The family upstairs is not constantly jumping.
Sheets, mattress protector, duvet covers, they get all removed and changed with clean ones every time a new guest arrives. She asked for a late check out but we had the cleaning crew scheduled already and a new guest checking in. Maybe that's why the bad review.
The garden in the photo is an outdoor art gallery nearby (less than two blocks) open to the public, for free. It's a nice place to go read, drink a coffee and enjoy some sun since there are not many outdoor parks downtown.
Giuseppe was exactly so like a good host should be . He was right on time by giving us the key, he helped us with luggage and offered himself for any help that we could need during our trip. He even invited us for a drink in his restaurant "Emporio" in Mott street, which I would recomend to all visiters. Neighborhood was ok..if you dont move in direction Chinatown and instead you move in direction little Italy, Soho and all other nice districts, that is easy because the appartment is exactly in the middle of all this districts. For that price best appartment!
G+F are good peeps and it was a good deal.
would recommend and stay again.
