Another great airbnb stay! Bottom line, Daniel and Shane are super cool guys, great to live with. The house is clean and well organized and user friendly. I was working long hours, so I didn't get to hang out, but the house is social and very close to Larchmont. Definitely stay here! Daniel, thx for putting up with my early starts and late returns. Sorry I didn't get to say good by in person.
First I want to say what you have wrote in my comment are totally not true! We never use the dishwasher, we always wash the dishes by our hands, because we are not get used to use dishwasher. And, we always clean the kitchen after we used it, however, your roommate leaves dishes and glass, and I help her wash it and put them in the cabinet. When you and your roommate stopped in, we always say hi and show our respect, and when you and your roommate come to the house several times and grab things in the room which we already rent, we always welcome. So I don't know why you say that we are not acknowledged at all. Second we didn't were up every night, in the most of days we need to get up early to go to some scenic spots, so we sleep very early in the night. More importantly, we never loud at 2am or 3am, sometimes we watch movies or play poker in the living room, but we all get back to our own room around 11PM. However, sometimes in the midnight, your roommate speak very loud, and it always have lots of noise from the house, and neighbour, especially form the bathroom, the water pipe makes lots of noise.
The most terrible things in the house is the hot water, when we are taking shower, in the beginning the water is hot, after few minutes the water become so cold, and we have to use the cold water to finish our shower. Because of this, one of my friends and I got cold, but we never complain about this.
And I apologize for the mess of your house, when the day we left, we had to get up very early in order to catch up our flight, so we didn't have enough time to tidy up the bed, but i tidy up kitchen and living room before we leave.
We are not spoiled children, show some respect.
I had a great time and got to know some awesome people! Daniel, Claudia and Cheyne were great housemates, and I've made a few friends. The house is beautiful, clean, location is good, the dogs were cute and even the neighbors are really good people. The house had everything I needed for a long stay, and it was really nice to hang in the courtyard. Some of the best cafes in LA are pretty close (Larchmont, Melrose etc). Would definitely stay again.
This is a fantastic place to stay, great host, and roommates. They helped me with everything i know about LA so far. Nice room, nice place, in general perfect. I stayed there for a week to look for a permanent place to stay, not having a car was not a prob, public transport will take you where you want, when you want.
Daniel is a super, super host: flexible, helpful, friendly , a beautiful person. His place: best value for money! Highly recommended
Back in NJ and I miss this place! Daniel and Cheyne (and Claudia! SO glad we had an overlap in our stays!) were super chill housemates. I loved the central location. Even with three dogs, the place was clean and quiet, and the water pressure in the shower is amaazing!
Some Good Eats (< 5 min drives, sorted by distance):
Western Doma Noodle (around the corner on Western): handmade chicken noodle soup
Pho 2000 (down Western): oxtail pho
Pork Belly (down Western): duck fat dries, grilled (website hidden) Ord Noodle (on Sunset): tiny portions, but delicious boat noodles, drunken noodles, duck noodle soup.
The only negative was parking. The parking enforcement officers in LA are hyper vigilant -- aka the WORST.
The house is really clean and the location is perfect!! Daniel is a fantastic host!
I really enjoyed staying here, the house was clean and comfortable. The room is spacious and has everything you need!
Daniel is a great host, nice and reliable, and his dogs are really amazing!
This is the nicest place I found in LA!
Daniel is a very reliable host who takes care of everything and is super easy- just like his roommates and his dogs.
The area is well connected to the rest of the city, so it even works out fine for visitors without cars.
I highly recommend this place and would come back anytime :)
Daniel is a nice host. He tried to help us as much as possible even he was not in the town during our stay. We had a great stay in his house. It is spacious, convenient, and clean. There are several bus stations nearby and a lot of GREAT Korean restaurants within walking distance. HIghly recommended.
