Welcome to our home on the Truckee River. The downstairs has an open floor plan with the living area, kitchen/dining & the den all connected with beautiful reclaimed oak hardwood flooring. Granite counters, hickory cabinets, hot tub. The hot tub over looks the Truckee river and all it's beauty. We are a short distance to downtown Truckee and all there little shops and we are 5 minutes outside the Ski Resort Village. Most have told us it's a hidden- GEM. Bird watch, fish or just relax. Have Fun!!

The downstairs has an open floor plan with the living area, kitchen/dining and the den all connected with rustic reclaimed red oak hardwood flooring. The kitchen has a new Bosch cook top and oven, beautiful hickory cabinets and a granite slab over a decorative farm sink. A full bathroom with a newly tiled shower / tub is between the great room and the downstairs bedroom with a Queen. There's also a cute attic-style room that allows the kids to watch cartoons. Bedroom 2 has a queen and is downstairs. Beautiful level yard with grassy areas spreading to the picturesque flowing river. Keurig K45 Elite Brewing has been added to the house. Olympic Valley Rd is 5 miles up the road (6 min w/out traffic, per maps) and historical Town of Truckee is 4 mi down the road. We're 3.5 miles from I-80.

PET POLICY- My son is allergic to pet hair. I am sorry but our pet policy is very strict. We can not host any pets. The pet hair causes major health issues to my son.

PRIVATE ROOM-
We had to label the upstairs as private because everyone kept sleeping in that room. That room has no fire exit so it can not be used to sleep in. There is nothing up there but our personal items- it's easily accessible but not usable.

Well Water-

The well is set to turn off with to much water used at one time. This is a cabin and the showers should be shorter and the shower and washing machine can not be ran together. Thank you for understanding.

Guest access
Private hot tub on the deck where you can watch the Truckee river flow on by, maybe even see a coyote, bear or a fox on the other side of the river (I have).

Neighborhood highlights

There's something magical about a flowing river gently passing by. Our back yard shares the river bank, and it's a great place to start the day with a morning cup of coffee, and end it with a glass of wine.

We love Airbnb and value hosting you and your groups - let us know if we can make your visit more enjoyable! I own my real estate company with my wife, Roxie. We love to ski, ride our cruiser mountain bikes (mine's a vintage stump Jumper), and road trip/camp in our Sncro VW Vanagon (one of our best road trips was from Tahoe to the Vancouver Olympics in 2010). I am an Olympian (my teammate Bonnie Blaire corrected me "never former, never past..") My pal Tomba took the golds that year in Calgary. Squaw Valley Riverfront Cabin-Our cabin is so cool - right on the tranquil waters of the Truckee River, 5 minutes from Squaw Valley, 4 miles to Truckee. We love it - and so will you! Trinity Tree House- Is another amazing large home in the Tahoe City area. It's perfect for the fun filled times in Tahoe. All my friends tell me they just want to camp out and never leave. Sunrise Hot Tub and Sauna are a surprise to most visitors.
