This is a 100% private room with Lock and key situated in the heart of Williamsburg. The room is at the front of my Art/Design studio that I share with my Mom. Inside your room is a kitchenette with microwave - fridge- Kettle - toaster. There is a 40 Inch flat screen TV with cable and WiFi and a fold down couch that is bigger than a double bed and very very comfortable. There is a small window which opens for air. My Mom has a living space towards the back of the studio which is a large distance from your room so you will feel quite private. The bathroom has a shower and toilet and is shared with my mom. There is a golden retriever and siamese cat that live with my mom. They are very friendly but do not enter the shared space other than to exit for walks. We are 5 min walk to the Williamsburg Market and East River Ferry and 6 blocks down Bedford ave to the L train. 3 stops to Union Square. You are also 2 mins from the Williamsburg bridge which you can walk or ride across to the Lower East Side. Williamsburg has just been crowned the music and art capital of New York State. I am an Australian who has been living here 2 years now and am often over seas which is when i rent out my place. As some one who came initially on a holiday myself I urge you to check this area out even if you don't stay with me. PLEASE NOTE- THIS IS A NY BASEMENT LOFT ART DESIGN STUDIO. Please don't expect a central park penthouse.
Every soul must be included in the confirmation. Children and Babies included.

Host was extremely helpful and sweet, she helped a lot. Room is great, comfortable, has a huge tv screen with movies and cable.
This was my first time in New York and my friend and i felt so welcome in this room!! Was greeted at the door of the building by June who explained the layout / where the bathroom was / the keys to get in and out of the building etc. Everything was perfect! :)
First of all June was a great landlord and she was very kind to us thanks to her. we didnt see vincent or alice. However, simply the place we stayed was not a home, it was an basement turned into small rooms. there was no window and heavy humudity smell and ground was old cement and there was no carpet or slippers. i couldnt feel like in a (website hidden) short i advise to new york visitors to pay little more and live somewhere better.
Staying in this budget Williamsburg room was perfect! Communication was smooth and easy. Location was ace, the space was clean and exactly as pictured. June was sweet and made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. Would certainly recommend this space. Thanks!
The room was pretty cozy, warm and efficient bunker - felt very safe from the non-blizzard Juno. It's was pretty tiny, which wasn't a big deal since I didn't stay long. I had access to everything I needed and felt welcome as soon as I got there. The neighborhood is really great and walking distance to bustling Bedford Avenue restaurants and cafes and quieter neighborhood haunts. For the price it couldn't be beat, but I was only one person. Might be a bit of a tight squeeze for two people.
June was very welcoming/accommodating and let me be after a quick run down of the place. exactly as pictured; great if you're out all day and just need a place to crash. had everything I needed.

We have travelled a lot together and believe it's all about the journey, not the destination. I like to get lost and discover things off the beaten track.
