Welcome! We invite you to log off and disconnect in our peaceful home situated in the heart of a historic, partially-gated neighborhood called Wellington Square. For other accommodations or larger groups, we offer a second bedroom called "Mahalo".
Our gorgeous Spanish Revival house was built in 1922 and showcases original mahogany woodwork, lighting and Batchelder tiled fireplace, and original tiled bathroom. Our picturesque home has been featured in a commercial in Japan.
This listing is for one bedroom for up to four (4) people. We've nicknamed this bedroom "Aloha." There is a queen-sized bed and an extra queen mattress as needed. We also have a second bedroom available "Mahalo" in the same house. Or if you prefer your own private house, we offer the three bedroom Japanese Retreat "Tatami House" (photo shown above). The house is beautiful!!!!it is in a safe and quiet area. The house is clean. A very good place for staying while you are traveling. Only 10mins drive to LA downtown. i had a nice 3 days stayed at the house!!thank you!!
The house is awesome, it is definitely one of the most beautiful airbnb we've ever stayed at. It was a very comfortable room and a clean bathroom! But in this neighborhood you will need a car to get around, because there are no bars or restaurants nearby. We haven't met mark or chomchay, because they live somewhere else, but I think they are really nice, just because of their house ;)
Le logement est parfait et l'hôtesse est très accueillante. L'endroit est calme et bien situé, nous le recommandons. Francine
Lovely home, great location to get anywhere in LA. Safe neighborhood, sat out on the back deck in the evening on the deck chairs felt very relaxed. The actual owners of the home no longer live there which was never mentioned to us but the caretaker of the home is lovely, good quick communication and very clear instructions how how to clean the bathrooms etc after each use. My husband was not use to taking his shoes off and on at the front door he found this annoying but he got use to it. Well lit home at night, night lights on stairs if you feel like a drink in the middle of the night. Great kitchen although we didn't get to use it, too many good restaurants in LA. Fridge with filtered water good to fill up your water bottle before you head out for the day. Only annoying thing was the smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night, very loud. All in all a lovely stay:)
Excellent communication from my hosts, and their house was beautiful, serene, spacious and clean. I felt very welcome and at ease.
