I'm sure you're going to like this bright, sunny, clean and comfortable apartment. Just one block from 24th St. restaurants, boutiques, coffee houses, Mexican bakeries, and art galleries. More than 50 murals are within a short distance which capture the Latin flavor of the Mission. Several bus routes are nearby (phone number hidden), and BART to go downtown, East Bay or to the airport is a ten-minute walk.
There is a queen-sized bed in the bedroom plus a foldout sofa in the office off the living room. As far as amenities, there is Wifi, two flat screen TVs
, modern kitchen, period details, and shared patio. Washer/dryer in unit. Easy access to 101 Freeway.
The bedroom is in the back of the building and looks out on a patio shared with one other apartment. The Mission is the sunny area of San Francisco, which can have clear days when the rest of the city is foggy.
The whole apartment and shared patio down below.
The New York Times rated The Mission as the second hippest neighborhood in the U.S. It is full of restaurants, non-chain stores and shops, art galleries, and coffee shops.
It also has great weather compared to foggier parts of the city.
Right in front of the building in the 27 Bryant which goes downtown. 10-15 minutes away is BART (commuter train) to go downtown, East Bay, South Bay and airport. Two other buses, the 33 and the 48 are within one block.
Other Things to Note
Street parking is available in my neighborhood. There are M-F restrictions (no more than 2 hours without permit) on most streets and you must read signs carefully about street cleaning. There are a few streets 1-3 blocks away that have no residential restrictions. San Francisco in general is not an easy parking city. However a number of my guests have arrived with cars and managed to find parking.
Please, no smoking. No pets. No loud noise after 10 pm. Treat the place as you would want your place treated. Respect the neighbors.
vincent was a great host. helped making sense of how to arrive and the timing. the place was great and comfortable. it is so nice to be able to have some one offer their home but also be in contact and responsive
Vincent's home was exactly what I was looking for: a great location right by so many of the Mission's fantastic offerings and a cozy place to stay with all of the comforts of home. He made me feel very welcome and I would definitely stay there again, in the future.
Although I didn't meet Vincent, everything was prepared and ready for my visit. The flat was great! Perfect and quiet. This is a very nice neighborhood, very close to transportation and a huge food scene just a block away. You must try the small Mexican place on the corner.
Vincent's place was just what we needed after spending a couple of weeks in a cramped room in NYC. This place is light, open, airy and decorated with pieces Vincent has collected in his travels. Quiet, very secure, about a 10 minute walk to the BART and only a little further to the great restaurants and bars on and around Valencia Street. Vincent was travelling at the time so we didn't get to meet him, but email contact was very prompt and he left us a local emergency contact just in case, alongside a binder full of useful information. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Thanks for having us, Vincent!
I really enjoyed SF and had a great time at Vincent's place!! I highly recommend it! Good space, close to metro and life night. All was clean and tidy... I personally liked how the place is decorated! Shame we didn't get to meet Vincent but all communication was quick and clear!
This was the perfect location for us and was great for Mexican food. The house had everything we needed and was very happy with everything. I would recommend this house to anybody that wants to be in the mission as the location is perfect. I didn't get to meet Vincent but he was great to deal with. Thanks!
We didn't meet Vincent, as there was someone else to give us the keys when we arrive. It was a bit complicated to tell the person when we would arrive as we were driving, and the person was actually a bit in a hurry. But Vincent has a binder with a lot of useful information. His flat is nice, spacious and comfortable. There are a few buses close to the flat, and the neighbourhood is great. Great place to stay in San Francisco !
World traveler that appreciates meeting people from around the world and the country. As well as a teacher, I am a writer and have published three novels. I love my neighborhood, the Mission, which has a diverse culture including Latinos, hipsters, techies, and people of all persuasions.
