The Space

I'm sure you're going to like this bright, sunny, clean and comfortable apartment. Just one block from 24th St. restaurants, boutiques, coffee houses, Mexican bakeries, and art galleries. More than 50 murals are within a short distance which capture the Latin flavor of the Mission. Several bus routes are nearby (phone number hidden), and BART to go downtown, East Bay or to the airport is a ten-minute walk.
There is a queen-sized bed in the bedroom plus a foldout sofa in the office off the living room. As far as amenities, there is Wifi, two flat screen TVs
, modern kitchen, period details, and shared patio. Washer/dryer in unit. Easy access to 101 Freeway.
The bedroom is in the back of the building and looks out on a patio shared with one other apartment. The Mission is the sunny area of San Francisco, which can have clear days when the rest of the city is foggy.

The Neighborhood

The New York Times rated The Mission as the second hippest neighborhood in the U.S. It is full of restaurants, non-chain stores and shops, art galleries, and coffee shops.
It also has great weather compared to foggier parts of the city.

Getting around

Right in front of the building in the 27 Bryant which goes downtown. 10-15 minutes away is BART (commuter train) to go downtown, East Bay, South Bay and airport. Two other buses, the 33 and the 48 are within one block.

Other Things to Note

Street parking is available in my neighborhood. There are M-F restrictions (no more than 2 hours without permit) on most streets and you must read signs carefully about street cleaning. There are a few streets 1-3 blocks away that have no residential restrictions. San Francisco in general is not an easy parking city. However a number of my guests have arrived with cars and managed to find parking.

  • Vincent was a very caring host. He had left great instructions and a wonderful array of food for breakfast. His apartment was perfect for the two of us plus our grand daughter and was outstanding as it has two large TV's which is not a luxury that is often found in these apartments. Buses and transportation are close by .

  • Vincent's place was great and he was a very organised and accommodating host. Checkout and check in was easy and the location was about 15 mins walk from the BART. We enjoyed all the mexican food in the area. I would recommend his place, it's clean and looks just like the pictures!

  • Great apartment, great location, my only regret is that I could only spent 3 nights. I arrived very late in the evening but that wasn't a problem. Lot's of information available in the "house book" about the city and the neighborhood. Great communication from Vincent before and during made everything very stress free. Warning. The burritos on Mission are HUGE!

  • We rented this lovely Air BnB a block away from our house for my in-laws that came up to SF for the weekend. I didn't honestly spend anytime there except for the initial tour from Vincent. I did think it was even better than the pictures do it justice, also super clean & tidy. I obviously love the neighborhood because I choose to live here myself. This was one of the best decisions I made concerning the entire weekend. It alleviated so much additional stress from our lives to have a separate place that was still near by, I am 8 months pregnant right now so that is a top priority for us. They never once complained about anything at Vincent's home & that is huge considering all they regularly do have to complain about. Now to only get them to feel that way about me!
Thank you so much Vincent you helped our weekend go by very nice & smoothly. I would definitely rent again from you for our out of town guests that we do not want staying with us in our home.

  • We had a wonderful four night stay in Vincent's beautiful apartment! It was comfortably, homey and very clean. I stayed with my parents and they had the bedroom and I slept on the futon. Both were comfortable. We wanted to experience San Francisco like a local and this place fit the bill! The location was great as we wanted to be in the Mission close to friends and family in this area. It was very close to some nice restaurants, bakeries and even a small organic grocery store. And all the other great local spots were only a bus ride away. Some of the neighbors next door were a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, but that is to be expected in a busy city. Otherwise, all the neighbors sharing the building were friendly and the neighborhood felt pretty safe. Definitely an unforgettable experience! We would definitely stay here again!

  • Vincent's apartment is the perfect place to stay in the mission. Beautifully decorated and extremely peaceful, it was a lovely place to return to after a full day around SF. I highly recommend it. Vincent is also a great host, as he provided extras like fruit and bagels :) also a few toiletries, which is great when you forget your own wherever you stayed before! He is also easy to be in touch with, making the whole process very smooth.

  • Staying at Vincent's was like being home away from home. The apartment was cozy, warm, and inviting. The Mission is a vibrant neighborhood with great places to eat and drink. We will definitely stay again.

  • Perfect place to stay in The Mission. Super close to everything. Very bright. Vincent even leaves out fresh fruit and bagels for his guests, which is so nice. The shower was very large and had different massage/waterfall settings, which was lovely. I had read other reviews that he did not have a hair dryer, but he's since gotten one, so you don't need to pack one yourself. The front room is on a busy street, so you can open up the windows and take a look at the bustling neighborhood and feel like you're a local, but the bedroom is surprisingly, delightfully quiet. Check-in and checkout were super easy. We had a wonderful time at Vincent's and would recommend to anyone!

  • Vincent's home was charming, home-y & super comfortable. It was perfectly located in the Mission (close to 24th, where there was a lot to explore on-foot). The apartment was immaculate & well-appointed (we didn't need to rush out to find coffee, which is always nice the first morning). And there was enough room to really relax in the living room after a long day of exploring. Accessing the keys/getting into/checking out were all very easy, & Vincent was always quick to respond to emails. We'd stay there again!
