It's all yours! And only 2 blocks from Times Square. In Midtown West, the Theater District, Hell's Kitchen, right by Broadway and restaurants and bars galore. Central Park only 10 blocks away, about a 13-minute walk (0.6 miles, about 1km.)

Modern furnishings, ceiling fans, hardwood floors, freshly painted, A/C, gas stove. No TV, but 27" Thunderbolt monitor on the Mac Mini, and super-high-speed (wideband) wireless Internet lets you stream and download on-demand. There is laundry on the block.
One full-size (double) bed for two. There is also a queen-size air mattress available for the floor.
Wi-fi: YES, INCLUDED!
Hair dryer: YES
Linens and towels: YES
Doorman/Reception: NO, but I will meet you and help with luggage.
Cleaning fee: $50. My guests are usually kind enough to leave the apartment as clean as when they arrived (except for linens and towels of course, I will take care of those).
This is a 4th-floor studio apartment in the heart of Hell's Kitchen / Midtown West. It's a walk-up, there is no elevator. Many good restaurants and bars of all kinds within 3 blocks and all around! Surrounded by Broadway theaters. Famous and not-so-famous actors and performers regularly spotted walking on 8th and 9th Avenues and the side streets!
Three subway lines are within a 5-minute walk, taking you anywhere in the 5 boroughs of NYC. This is by far the most comfortable and convenient location to stay and see the real New York, for a fraction of the price of a Times Square hotel.
All contact info - email, phone number, and address - will be automatically exchanged between guest and host after the room is booked.
How do I pay?
Payments are transacted online through the Airbnb payment system. Simply press the 'book it' button on this page, and enter your credit card or PayPal information.
Everything in the apartment is free for your use (except the bigger closet by the bathroom which is mine for storage). I am away traveling. The apartment is not shared, you will have it all to yourselves.
Interaction with Guests
I can interact as much or as little as needed. Usually I check in with you shortly after you arrive, and again just before you leave. I will not be present at the apartment but am only a phone call or text message away.
So many great restaurants and bars. Right in the Broadway theater district. Close to Central Park and all the features of midtown Manhattan.
Subways to everywhere in NYC just 2 blocks away.
No cigarette smoking in the apartment please, but feel free to use the fire escape outside the window next to the bed.
Help yourself to any condiments, spices, anything you like in the kitchen if you choose to cook (but who does that in Manhattan?).
Please remove shoes in the apartment, and no loud music or noise after 10pm.
This was our first airbnb experience and now we are totally converted.
The apartment is exactly as the photos and description lead us to believe and the location is absolutely amazing, especially for first time visitors to NYC. The apartment was very clean and tidy with plenty of room and provided everything we needed for our stay. In fairness, we didn't use anything in the kitchen (except for the fridge) because everything is so closeby and convenient.
Basically, I can't really come up with anything negative to say. This will definitely be the first of many times we use airbnb because our experience with Ryan's apartment was just so amazing!
The apartment was exactly as pictured, clean, comfortable, well equipped and in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Times Square, Broadway and subway stations. The neighbourhood felt safe and had a good selection of restaurants and bars close by. Ryan was very responsive throughout the whole process, replying quickly to any queries or questions. Check-in was easy and we were allowed to check-out a little later to accommodate our flight time, which was much appreciated. If you fancy avoiding over priced hotels and living like a local for a few days, then this is an excellent choice. Overall, a very positive experience and I'd recommend it.
Ryan and his friend Olivia were extremely organized and friendly. Checking in was very easy, and they provided a handy written guide of the apartment's amenities and a description of food options and other useful information in the surrounding neighbourhood. The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The location is fantastic - extremely central, close to the subway, easy walking distance to many restaurants, Broadway theatres, Times Square and other attractions. I also felt safe walking home alone at night. Overall, I had a great time and would stay here again.
Its my first time using airbnb. Ryan was a great host. The location and appartment is perfect! I will be back.
We could not have asked for a better location. Ryan's apartment is right in the heart of one of the hippest NYC neighborhoods - Hell's Kitchen/Times Square. We were within easy walking distance to the best food and entertainment in the city. Ryan's apartment is clean and well organized. We felt very comfortable and safe in the neighborhood, as well. Communication with Ryan was easy, and he was extremely responsive to texts and emails. Don't waste your time and money on a Times Square hotel when you can live like a local with all the comforts of home! We can't wait to come back. Thanks Ryan!
I'm an actor, singer and musician in NYC, originally from Seattle.
I am lucky enough to rent a studio apartment right in the heart of the greatest city on Earth! As I am currently on tour with a musical (Once), I am renting out my apartment while I'm gone, and sometimes renting from Airbnb hosts in other cities. I'm happy to make sightseeing, restaurant and nightlife suggestions, help with luggage, etc.
I love traveling - my most recent pleasure destinations were Bermuda and Ireland, and as I type this I'm in Tokyo for work. Have been to Hong Kong, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Greece, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, Holland and the UK. And all over the US, with theatrical tours and for pleasure.
I've worked on Broadway in WONDERLAND (Knight/Rabbit u/s), HAIR (Berger/Woof u/s), and RENT (Roger), and on tour in ONCE (Emcee u/s Guy), HAIR (Woof), and AIDA (Radames s/b). For a week I played Jesus in J.C. Superstar (Kansas City Starlight Theater). My few little TV appearances include "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", "The Bedford Diaries", "As The World Turns", Departure, Holier Than Thou, and Lisa's Last Chance. I'm about to release my first original solo EP. Previous rock band and solo recordings include Kill The Camera (2007), "One Song Glory + Remixes" (2005), Miss Fortune (2000), and Salamander "Catalyst" (1995) -- all on iTunes.
I also do tech support, and have worked on and off in Information Technology since the dawn of the interwebs.
